For those who want it all!!! Also Daniel is incredible

Abigail_M, Oct 2025
This was such a an amazing experience, you get a bit of everything - castles, ruins, lochs and waterside strolls, charming villages, highland coos (❤️), and film locations all in one! Our guide Daniel N. Was so incredible and made it an unforgettable experience. We were also very lucky to have a sunny day with perfect visibility to see the mountains at every stop, with only a passing shower that resulted in a rainbow. The small group size made for a comfortable experience, the ability to ask questions and laugh and tell stories, and ultimately take the time each location deserved.

Good tour - just not for me.

Julia_S, Sep 2025
It was a nice enough experience. I am giving 3 stars to help others with their decision about this tour. The car was comfortable; our guide was friendly, our fellow tour mates were lovely. It was a lot of driving past beautiful things, which was a nice way to orient to the land. Our driver did not give us much information beyond superficial overviews of where we were. I even asked for more information at the beginning of the tour, and it just wasn't that interesting. I asked lots of questions, but it felt like I had to fish for information. I spent $300 (regrettably - I wish I could get any kind of refund) to sit in a car and go to a few touristy places with minimal information. I was hoping for educational, fantastical, or dramatic downloads from a local. However, this might be your dream tour! Low physical demands, lots of beauty as you drive, and you stop at some pretty places with some compelling history. I drove with a friend in their rental car for 5 hours and saw more standing stones, more beauty, more small interesting points of interest, and met more locals who readily shared information that this tour.

More than than the city

Delightful day in countryside, allowed us to see a few castles, and view Scotland’s beauty outside of the city

Suzanne_H, Sep 2025
This was a great experience enhanced by our guide Jim’s knowledge. My only comment is that I wish the description if the trip detailed more about all the places that you stop throughout the day

Highly recommended!!

Bobbi_C, Aug 2025
Terrific Scottish and clans tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. His first name was Grame. Could you give me his last name and contact information?

Not so great.

Nagarajan_C, Aug 2025
It was not 8.45 hours tour rather it's 10.5 hours tour. Don't know why they advertise like that. The guide was talking non stop for nearly 7 hours...The places were scenic but not that spectacular. Wouldn't recommend this operator.

Nice tour of the highlands

We had an amazing time visiting all the sites. Standing stones were amazing and James gave us awesome ideas for photos. He was full of knowledge and answered all questions. He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat in Glasgow.

James is the best!

Highly recommend James!! He gave the best experience and made it that much more fun! He’s the kind of guy you want to keep hanging out with! We had the BEST time!

Scottish Highlands Dream Day!

Brandy_S, Jun 2025
Daniel gave us an insider day filled with castles, a church, graveyard, standing stones and burial mounds, plenty of stops, and stories for all of them. This was my favorite tour in two weeks!

The driver did well did well in the rain during most of the day. The attractions were well worth the trip.

A fun day out in the highlands

Anne_M, Jun 2025
This tour represents a nicely varied set of activities in the highlands out of Glasgow. The standing stones are a particular highlight, as is the ruin of Kilchurn Castle. Our driver/guide Cat was pleasant and professional.

A great day trip. Highly recommend.

Susanna_R, May 2025
Book this trip! James was so knowledgeable and funny, and he took such good care of us. He told us about legends, history and fun facts about all the places we saw and he had lots of suggestions for the rest of our stay, within Glasgow and Scotland. This is our second full day trip with this company; the vans are immaculate and roomy (my husband is 6'8"), and there was lots to see, though we never felt rushed. We were always just ahead of the crowds and mega- buses. A great day. Thanks James!

Great Highlands Trip

Nils_M, May 2025
Great way to learn and see a lot in the Highlands. James has a wealth of knowledge that he did an excellent job of sharing. Highly recommended.

We had a great day tour of Inveraray, standing stones and Kilchurn Castle with Matt. He was knowledgeable about the history of our sites and very personable. We especially appreciated his help as we were trying to make our flight. He even dropped us off at our hotel. Thanks Matt!

Loved the tour. John was a terrific guide and driver. John displayed a lot of consideration for his passengers. We even got to see 2 different lots of hairy coos.

Great trip

Bruce_C, May 2025
Small group tour. We had 6 in our 8 passenger van. Lauren the guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the sites and attentive to the varying abilities of the group.

Good venue, but needs some work.

Charles_M, May 2025
Matt, the tour guide was excellent. The sites on the itinerary were interesting. Two negatives, however. First, ventilation in the van was poor. Second, passengers need to he rotated in the seating assignment after each stop. Those sitting in the middle or the back had limitrd sightlines snd missed much of what Matt said.

Wow! Don't miss this adventure!

Maryann_D, Apr 2025
Wow! This tour could not have been better. Matt made this experience exceed our expectations. While he can't take credit for the beautiful scenery, the incredible castles, and the amazing standing stones, his knowledge of the history added to this exceptional adventure! I highly recommend this tour! And, I can't say enough about Matt and how he made this trip exceptional!

Highland trip

Tere_G, Apr 2025
Excellent tour of the Highlands. Our guide, John, was OUTSTANDING! He was fun, friendly and filled us with the history and background in each area we visited. I have been using Viator for years and honestly John was the best guide we have ever had. Thank you!

Wonderful full day excursion.

Nicole_S, Mar 2025
Very good value. Lots to see and do in one day. Very cheerful, helpful guides! Very impressive standing stones, old villages to wander around in, and great pub food to try. Great scenery too.

Castles and Coo's

Debora_S, Mar 2025
The tour was wonderful lots to experience and many stories told about areas even just as we drove past. The only advice is that the lunch spot is a little early in the day Rachel was a excellent driver and shared many stories and information!
