It was fun and informative! Make sure you dress for the weather. If you are afraid of heights, prepare yourself.

In my opinion, this was an amazing way to see the cliffs and get local stories about the area. Pat and Vince were excellent guides.
Perspective participants should be aware the hike is over some difficult terrain and the length is approximately four miles.

It was great to hear about the history of the Cliffs, the county and Patricks own family history in the region . He tweaks the tour to help walkers get the best inspite of the weather and wind - thats really appreciated. A wealth of local history, and humour to keep the journey very entertaining.
The walk was fantastic, views of the cliffs which you don’t see if you go to the normal tourist spot. Nice anecdotes and stories from the guide. One thing: you can book and pay directly to the guide because viator almost charges double
We spent 3.5 hours with Pat, a local farmer, learning all about the Cliffs of Moher. He not only shared pertinent factual information but also his personal stories of growing up on the cliffs. He was informative, pleasant and funny. All four of us in the group highly recommend this wonderful experience!
The most incredible way to visit the Cliffs. I would not have been able to appreciate the beauty, history, and scale had I just gone to the visitors center.
The walking tour was the best tour I participated in all my travels, not just Ireland. It was informative, engaging, we learned personal family history, and walked at a pace that was comfortable for all of us. I will tell everyone to book this tour!!!
What an amazing hike with Pat the farmer. We did the 10K steps in 3.5 hours with an 11 year old and 13 year old. Enjoyable throughout and not rushed. Nothing really scary unless you’re truly afraid of heights. Great photos in the farm restricted areas. Highly recommend.
If going from Galway, take Bus Eirrean. The 350 bus. Be warned that on the way back, it might be full the first time around. Most direct route there.
Also, did the hike in running shoes but it was a really nice unusually Irish sunny day with no rain and light wind.
Book this tour. Don’t hesitate. Just do it! Pat took us on a grand adventure. Forever grateful to have found this tour and snagged a spot for my family before our Ireland trip. We were all left speechless and in awe of the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, but even more so with Pat and his vast knowledge and history, as well as his fabulous sense of humor. Core memories were made. So grateful to Pat and his team that makes this tour possible.
We had a once in a lifetime experience. The views are indescribable. The tour guides were fabulous and shared some beautiful stories that made us feel more connected to the land we were lucky enough to walk on. I highly suggest this tour. Make sure to bring water and snacks.

Pat was so adventurous and fun! He had many meaningful and interesting stories to tell. I had a great time. He showed us spots that you wouldn’t normally see on the typical trail. I would highly recommend walking with him on this tour!

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Vincent was the perfect tour guide. Vincent blended the history of the Cliffs as well as history of Ireland itself during our hike. Really, very educational. I would highly recommend this for anyone traveling to this area. Loved it!
Vincent and Pat, a local farmer and our guides for the experience were beyond outstanding. They shared detailed information about the Moher cliffs, the surrounding land, the dangers of the Atlantic Ocean, Irish history, and how they became to be our guides. They took us to areas that you would not be able to access without their guidance and access to their farming land. They made the time from 10.00-14.30 humorous and very informative. They were attentive to those that may of struggled with the route.
We highly recommend their tour over any coach tour. They were the best! Thank you so much to you both.
Such a great experience. Way better than a bus tour to the Visitor Center. Hiking along the cliffs with frequent stops at various points of view were fantastic. The hike was not strenuous at all. If you are nervous about being close to the cliffs edge we found all very safe. Even spotted puffins on the cliffs below. Patrick and Vinny were exceptional on the knowledge they provided.
Thankfully, we kept an eye on the weather and were able to reschedule for the following day when weather was much better.
They only cancel for visibly issues. Rain or wind the tour will typically occur.
Due to trail closures for maintenance/safety purposes our hike did not end at the Tourist Center. There is always those who try to get a perfect pic resulting in deaths each year causing these trails to be temporarily closed.
Still the BEST hike we could have asked for!!

Pat and Vincent were both incredible tour guides!! My girlfriend found this online through other reviews and we decided to take a shot on it. We are so glad we did! Pat and Vincent both help construct the walking trails and know them like the back of their hand. You’re able to see all the scenic spots, including some ones off the main path, along with learning some interesting history about Ireland. Both Pat and Vincent were also incredibly kind and accommodating to all hikers involved. We really cannot recommend this experience enough!

If you’re planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher, this is an experience I can’t recommend enough! Pat and Vincent were absolutely incredible guides. They both grew up and still live on family farms bordering the cliffs, so the hike truly felt like exploring their backyard with locals who know every inch of it.
Their humor, storytelling, and local knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable. We were able to access areas not open to the general public, which made it feel so much more special and personal than simply visiting on our own.
The tour was about $50 USD per person and worth every penny. We hiked 5 miles over about 4 hours, and even with the misty weather, the cliffs were still breathtaking and easy to see. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of our Ireland trip!

A breathtaking hike of the Cliffs! I was in such awe to see the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moore, with their fascinating rock formations and even seeing where the various birds make their nests. Pat and Vincent were good guides, they even told us how they created the tour. Overall, I would recommend this to tour for anyone to really see the Cliffs of Moore because unlike most tours Pat and Vincent actually let you take your time to walk and see everything.
It’s long hike over some uneven ground. Not for the faint of heart or young children. Nevertheless we enjoyed it very much, especially the stories and information from Vincent and Pat.
Don’t think about it do this tour it is the best. We loved this tour and memories from it will remain forever. Pat Sweeney was the friendliest man who loves where he lives and what he does, a patriotic Irishman who wants to share his enthusiasm and love of his land and the beauty of The Cliffs. He will take you places you would never get to go on any other tour. It was a 5 mile walk I am not a very fit person but I found it easy. I don’t like heights and there was a very small spot that I found a little scarey but it was ok. I wouldn’t let it stop you doing tour.
His narrative was so interesting and his boyhood memories from growing up in this area was so interesting.

You will get muddy so wear boots! This tour is led by Pat and his cousin Vinny. Their family created the cliff walk!! Highly recommend.
Awesome experience exploring the coast line on their own property. Our guides, Patrick and Vincent were knowledgeable, humorous and so welcoming!! So much better than going to visitor center for Cliffs of Moher!
