very nice family and delicious food. It was very fun learning and talking with them about cooking and life in Japan.
It definitely helps if one person in the group knows Japanese though for full exp, which my girlfriend did.

An excellent cooking class on authentic, homemade Japanese cooking with lovely and friendly hosts.
The class was a memorable moment from our trip, we not only learnt how to make sushi, but also tempura, miso and salad with plenty of tips to take home.
The hosts communication and teaching methods were easy to follow and clear, the classroom in their home was spacious and the food we made was absolutely delicious.
I would highly recommend this experience for travelers in the Fukuoka area
