Seeing much of K'gari (Fraser Island) is hard without your own 4-wheel-drive vehicle to drive along its beaches, but that’s not a worry with this 4WD tour. Over two days, swim in lakes, climb sand dunes, and explore the rainforest, all between taking turns driving. Spend the evening with a roof over your head in shared rooms at a beach house on the island.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Drivers must be 21 years or over, with an open license and at least 2 years driving experience.Driver safety briefing the morning of departure. No off road driving experience necessary.
- Pack small luggage only - Approx 30L size bag.
- If less than two vehicles on the tour, the lead guide is the only person legally allowed to drive the vehicle.
- Alcohol and snacks welcome. (Boxed wine not allowed)
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 21 travelers

Such an amazing experience! We absolutely loved it & would do it again if we could!! Graham was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable and fun! The volunteers at the hostel were fab too. Food was great! All round fab trip, driving on the beach was surreal!!🫶🏼

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Fraser Island tour I recently booked with your company. The description of the tour was extremely unclear, which led to significant confusion. As a result, I mistakenly checked into the wrong Flashpackers Hostel and had to arrive a night earlier than necessary. This confusion caused me to incur additional costs for accommodation that were not anticipated.
Due to these miscommunications, I was unable to participate in the entire tour, which was incredibly disappointing. The additional expenses and the loss of valuable time have been a significant inconvenience.
The total extra costs I incurred include an additional night at the Flashpackers Hostel, and further expenses for rebooking transportation. This situation has caused me undue stress and financial strain.
I hope that you can address these issues promptly and provide a suitable resolution. I would appreciate compensation for the extra costs incurred and a thorough review of the tour description to prevent future customers from experiencing similar problems

I understand how frustrating it must have been to accidentally book your accommodation at the wrong location the night before the tour, despite the clear information on our Viator product page.
When you made your booking, you selected Colonial Village Resort as your pickup location, which clearly displays the Hervey Bay address. Unfortunately, we are unable to compensate for costs resulting from booking errors.
