Overview
Get to K’Gari (Fraser Island) and enjoy all the hot spots by 4WD, and you may even see some dingos along the way. You’ll have a lead driver who will take you to the highlights, like Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, and the Champagne Pools. The tour is only for 18-35 year olds, and everything will be taken care of for you, so you can just enjoy this gorgeous island.

This is one of the best things I have ever done! Our guide Wade was absolutely amazing - helpful, friendly and made it a great 3 days. I went over Christmas and it was such a great experience to have to celebrate while away from home. Driving the 4X4’s is super fun and the activities were fantastic, especially the lazy river and Lake McKenzie. Made some great friends too :) Could not recommend it enough

Trip was great but viator cocked the booking up so I would never use them again v stressful. They failed to book on the trip despite full payment in advance!

Very fun tour. You get to experience beeing in nature, not just watching it. Our guide, Wade, could answer any question and was friendly, helpful and patient. Felt like a safe tour as a female solo traveller as well.

It was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed being disconnected from the world for a few days because theres no wifi on the island. Driving on the beach is so much fun and our tourguide Waide was the best!

I had the best time! So many activities and stories to hear about the Island. Camp facilities were good and had plenty of food to keep everyone full. Rhett our tour leader was the highlight of the tour. His additional information, experience and impromptu concerts made our whole groups time on this tour extra special. I have made memories and friends to last a life time!

Fantastic tour guide Lee very knowledgeable about the island, aboriginal culture, very open and willing to chat and share. Camp was good, clean and safe. Food was a pleasant suprise and there was amble food. Activities were great.

Well planned out tour with pretty pit stops and sites along the way. You will spend a lot of time in the car so be prepared for that. You can’t swim in the ocean so once you get back to the camp, there isn’t a ton to do. The tents are very close together so you will hear everything. The evenings were loud and just felt like a bit of a party vibe. Food was good and there were places we stopped at to get more snacks, drinks, sunscreen, etc. Some of the locations were very busy with tourists and not much shade anywhere. I feel like the 2 day tour would be just as good and I probably would’ve preferred that one!

Driving along the beach is pretty special as well as the nature. However, there’s a lot of driving involved and the camp side is far from comfortable. The tour guide was really nice and you just need luck to catch a group of cool people for your tour.

We had the best time! Driving in the sand , blasting our music and just enjoying the sun , the beautiful island and each other‘s company. Totally recommend going and also watching the stars by night at the beach and a sunsrise ! ☀️ we also had the best guide , Lee did a great job :)

We had an awesome group, and Dan, our guide, made it truly special. He showed us around the island with so much enthusiasm, and on day two, we jammed to some great tunes. Food was also good and make sure to bring lots of alcohol. Every moment was filled with good vibes, making it a trip to remember.

An interesting trip, our guide Paul was friendly and knowledgeable although at times it would have helped to know timings between locations. The tents at night were extremely hot and there were differing messages between what was provided and not - ie. Pillow not provided although some literature did not highlight this and sleeping bags were provided although some literature stated there may be a rental fee for them. There was also an indication that there were free cold shower or hot showers for a fee - this was incorrect, only with a $2 coin could you have a shower. From our experience travelling with the same car for the duration of the trip would have saved a lot of hassle and made for a more enjoyable trip, as we got placed in a car on the 2nd day that were unhappy about loosing driving time. The island is big and as a result you spend a great deal of time in the cars which at times was good fun but if cramped in the very back of a hot truck with no air was definitely not the most enjoyable! Exploring the island was incredible however, and food provided was great - just a shame that the experience was dampened by lack of sleep in tents and unhappy people upset about car arrangements!

Wonderful 3 days around Fraser Island with our tour guide Paul. A really nice guy that makes the experience great. Breakfast, lunch and dinners was good! I definitely recommend this 3 days.

Ein unfassbar tolles Erlebnis!
Pro Auto sind 7-8 Leute & jeder der einen Führerschein hat darf fahren - es macht unfassbar viel Spaß selber hinter dem Steuer zu sitzen & von einem zum anderen wunderschönen Ort auf der Insel zu fahren. Man hat immer genügend Zeit die Plätze zu besichtigen! Der Guide war sehr nett & witzig und hat viele interessante Infos erzählt.
Geschlafen wird in 2er Zelten und Kissen mit Schlafsack & Isomatten werden bereitgestellt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker - Wraps, Burger & Frühstück. Unverträglichkeiten oder Vegetarisch / Vegan wir sehr gut beachtet (wenn vorher angegeben).
Im Camp kann für 2$ geduscht werden, ansonsten ist es sehr einfach eingerichtet aber alles da was benötigt wird! Abends kann zusammen gesessen werden oder zum Strand gegangen werden, da das Camp direkt am Strand liegt!
Rund um schön, sehr spaßig & erholend!

Ich würde es auf jeden Fall wieder machen! Trotz Regen und teilweise schlechtem Wetter war es unglaublich schön! Wir wurden in zwei Gruppen mit jeweils ca. 35 Personen geteilt. Es waren ca. 7-8 Personen in einem Auto. Jeder der einen Führerschein hatte durfte fahren. Es gab auch ein Fahrzeug mit Automatikgetriebe. Die Zelte waren okay, es gab Yogamatten, Kissen und Schlafsäcke. Man schläft zu zweit in einem Zelt. Alles sauber. Die Mahlzeiten waren auf jeden Fall ausreichend und es gab zwischendurch Snacks. Unser Guide Peter war nett und lustig. Er hat auch etwas über die Gesichte der Insel erzählt.
Insgesamt waren mehrere Gruppe auf dem Campingplatz, also war für jeden eine Gruppe dabei zu der er gepasst hat. Manche wollten abends eher feiern, andere saßen lieber am Lagerfeuer.
Abends konnte man gut die Sterne sehen. Wir waren am Lake McKenzie, Champagner Pools, den Wrack und einem weiteren See.
Ich würde wieder buchen!
