Stunning day trip to paradise. Our guide, Dan F, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and down to earth. Ferry over, 4WD ride to our stop and had swam in Lake McKenzie, had a beautiful, guided walk through a small piece of rainforest, spotted 3 dingos and had a brilliant day. It’s a bouncy ride but so worth it for the scenery and experience. If you appreciate natural beauty, then don’t miss this trip.

If you would like a comprehensive visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site, this is a MUST tour. We were TOTALLY impressed by the amount of ground we covered while seeing so much of K'gari. Moreover, among other things, we saw numerous dingoes, experienced a unique rain forest, got to swim in a fresh water lake, and saw a historical ship wreck. Meanwhile, others on the tour also tubed down a freshwater creek and took an airplane flight of the island, taking-off/landing right off the beach. This was definitely a first-class tour complete with expert commentary.

Tour operator arrived 35 minutes late without a reasonable explanation. One of the two major activities had very minimal time allocation and they didn’t provide the equipment required for the experience - no floaties for Eli Creek. Food was extremely basic.

A must do tour as so unique. Wasn't prepared for quite so much driving, but all an amazing experience. Driving route depends upon the tide level & depth & quality of sand at the time so we travelled inland in the morning but along the beach to return to the ferry - that latter part was awesome! Would have liked more time at Lake Mackenzie which is just incredible.

Overall, the tour was quite enjoyable, with beautiful scenery and locations, and the driver and guide were very friendly and open with the passengers. However, we spent quite a bit of time on the bus and the periods to enjoy the lake or the beach were very short. In addition, they do not send a reference photo of the bus and the specifications on the app are not entirely clear when waiting for the bus to start the tour, so I was not sure which bus to take, as there were several companies offering the same tour. When booking on the website, they ask if you have any preferences for the lunch and snacks offered on the tour, so I specified that I was vegetarian, but they didn't send me any vegetarian options and I couldn't have lunch, only snacks. I think the website needs a little more information and clarification about the itinerary.

What an amazing day! You get to see all the main hotspots of K’Gari in one jam packed day and it’s absolutely amazing to experience its full beauty. Jeff our tour guide could not be faulted. His knowledge and pace meant we had plenty of time at stops to really see the land and experience the environment. Highly recommend this small group tour.

It was great. Really enjoyed it. Saw two dingos, sea Eagles and a myriad of other birds.
Lake Mackenzie was amazing. The water was pristine.
Bring crocs or suitable footwear as the sand gets hot. Lots of sunscreen and a hat, best of all cover up.
You need short shorts to cross Eli Creek.
The guides are very friendly.

The sites we explored were AMAZING, all held up to expectations and exceeded. The guides were great too, the local knowledge was really interesting
Beyond the soft sand on the beach making the trip a bit tedious I’d still book a return trip

Worth every cent..the tropical rain forest walk was amazing..McKenzie Lake was wonderful...sand at the lake was great for a body scrub and for cleaning your jewellery..Just a great experience all round and Jacob was fantastic!

Both my wife and myself really enjoyed our day trip even though we where very tired when getting back to our accom.Instead of a large 4 by 4 bus we had two 4 by 4 trucks which was more personal and our driver was great.The reason for having the two 4 by 4's was that they had problems with bus and waiting for a spare part.
Only down side was that instead of a barbi lunch we had rolls and fruit this may have been due to the fact that the barbi was in built and on the bus.
