Do not miss this tour! We hit the jackpot with this adventure to Tikal. Not only did we have an incredible tour of the ancient Mayan ruins, but we also got lucky and saw so much wildlife as the heat died down in the afternoon. Our guide Elmer spoke excellent English, was personable and catered to everything that we wanted to do. We had our own private driver, cold water, towels and an awesome local lunch. Book this to hit the Jackpot.

Elmer was an excellent tour guide from beginning to end. We did the private sunset tour - it was slightly more expensive than a similar group tour but included entry which helps you to skip the queue making it almost the same price.
Elmer has so much knowledge to impart and really tailors the experience to your interests. He was very patient while we took thousands of pictures of birds and told us everything he knew about the local wildlife as well as the Tikal site. We learnt about the Mayan people throughout the ages up to today. He also gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and tours to do in other areas of Guatemala. His English was perfect and he was an all round lovely person. I would highly recommend this tour!

The guide was very kind and enthousiastic. He got us to a place other tourists usually do not go (and we were indeed alone). He was very interesting: told the story with passion and was able to tell us way more than just the regular guide info when we asked questions.

We had a great time at Tikal, our guide Roni was most attentive, polite and informative, he treated us so well! The site is amazing and a must do when in Flores or Peten. Lunch (included) was ok. All in all a memorable day. Oh and I highly recommend the sunset tour, the site is almost empty!

Elmer was amazing! He had everything planned ahead of time, including lunch and plenty of water. He was very professional and personable, my partner and I were the only two on the tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone, especially for people who might feel uncomfortable traveling in the Jungle or foreign country.
