Ferrara private walking tour

We had a wonderful 3 hour private walking tour of Ferrara with Marta. Her knowledge of the history of the city was impressive and vital to our understanding of the historical sites she took us to. She adjusted the pace of the tour to accommodate us and our needs and interests. We’ve been touring northern Italy for a couple of weeks and this was one of the better tours we’ve taken.

Marta met us at the meeting point ahead of schedule. She was very pleasant and gave us a very detailed description of the history of Ferrara. We toured the castle, the “new city” and the old town where we saw the old Jewish Ghetto. All along the way Marta willingly answered our questions. After the tour she recommended an excellent restaurant where we were able to get traditional dishes for lunch.
