Great experience even for a beginner. Amine was a great guide and helped me and my friend get comfortable on the horses. He also took a lot of nice photos and video for us to remember the experience, which I really appreciated a lot. It was a lot of fun and a great memory. I would definitely do it again in the future the next time in visit Essaouira and I would recommend to others!

Great experience even for a beginner. Amine was a great guide and helped me and my friend get comfortable on the horses. He also took a lot of nice photos and video for us to remember the experience, which I really appreciated a lot. It was a lot of fun and a great memory. I would definitely do it again in the future the next time in visit Essaouira and I would recommend to others!

I want to start by saying all of my issues with this ride stemmed from my lack of experience with horses, however I was very disappointed with how the guides handled my discomfort and requests to stop the tour. I signed up for this experience because so many of the reviews indicated it was beginner friendly, and upon signing up I confirmed with the company that it was okay that we lacked experience with horses. I was shocked when we arrived that we were not provided helmets nor any instruction on the basics of horseback riding. I again confirmed with the guides that I was a beginner and they promised it wouldn’t be an issue. They assigned me to a stallion, which I only learned because anytime a horse came too close, he would showcase dominate behaviors and I was chastised to not let him get close to the other horses because he was a stallion. This made me extremely nervous, and which I told the guides, and they laughed it off as me worrying too much. Later on the beach, the guides wanted to take a photo of my husband and I together, which I politely declined because I was too nervous to have the horses so close. The guide disregarded my request and took the horse by the bridle and walked me over to my husband’s horse. At this point, my horse was visibly agitated and began backing himself into the horse next to us. At this point, I was terrified and asked to stop, and the guides told me I just needed to calm down. The guides had my horse lead the line because he walked the fastest, but the guides wandered behind by foot and were frequently on their phones, and I was not comfortable being in front not knowing which trail to take. On the ride back, my horse suddenly stopped and laid down and began rolling over in the dirt. I had to quickly dismount and jump away to avoid being crushed. The guide chastised me for allowing the horse to do this. I was pretty shaken and at this point crying, and I asked if I could walk back to the stables. The guides told me no because it was too far and insisted I remount. The guide told me he would stay right by my horse for the rest of the ride, but after about 5 minutes he stopped to chat with the other guides and watch videos on his phone. I am fully aware that my negative experience on this tour stems from my lack of experience with horses, but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated that the guides would not respect my desire to stop participating in the tour.

This was one of the best experiences of my holiday. I went with my daughter, who had never ridden before. By the end, she had galloped along the beach! The horses are well trained and know what they doing, the men accompanying us also know what they are doing! They are all experienced horsemen and really encourage you to be a little brave, but don’t force you to so anything you don’t want to. The scenery is out of this world and the photos and video taken, I will treasure forever. The only thing to ruin it slightly for us were a couple of young women who came out riding with us, they were clearly friends of the stable and were not friendly at all to us. I had to change horses with one of them at one point and she was not happy at all! Despite the unpleasant women, this was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend to anyone, beginner or experienced. Thank you!

Bad communication, could not speak no English and no other language except French and Arabic, horses and stall in a miserable condition, they treat the horses bad, no announcements and no information at all. Not friendly and just bad overall. Would not recommend.

Je pense que vous faites erreur car nous sommes actuellement en randonnée et n’accueillons pas les visiteurs à l’écurie qui d’ailleurs est très bien tenue et nos chevaux sont en parfaite santé. D’autre part nos guides parlent, anglais, français, arabe et espagnol. Vous avez du aller dans une autre écurie

This was an amazing experience, I absolutely cannot thank Mohammad enough! I went with friends who were more beginners, while I was experienced, they were able to cater to both levels of riding easily and allow me to live out my dream galloping along the beach at sunset. It was a complete dream!! I will most definitely be coming back as soon as I’m able to.

All the horses was marvellous and the guides was very experienced. They can offer you whatever experience you want, whether it's just an easy ride or a full gallop on the beach. They also gave us beautiful pictures and videos after the tour. Allover a very nice experience.

This was a fantastic tour. I work with horses, so making sure the tour guide has safe and well-cared for animals was my first concern. We had a wonderful time with our guide. As an experienced rider I had the opportunity to amble along or have some fun on the beach. They were patient and kind with my friend who is not experienced, and the horse was a babysitting Saint. We had plenty of time for pictures and the tour was timed perfectly. All the animals were sound, cared for, and happy. Helmets are provided and tack was in good contrition. Thank you!

Very cool experience! Our guide Mohamed was super nice and looked after us very well. He also encouraged me (experienced rider but a little afraid) to be more daring when it came to canter, which totally paid off in the end.

Great horse riding experience. I loved the horses, riding on the beach.
My helmet was a bit too loose and kept falling from the wind. And the blue nets placed on the head is visible in all pictures. so If you can bring your own hair net.

There are no words to describe how awesome it was. Our guide Youssef was amazing. First we were taken to the stables from which we rode through a path to the sand hills overlooking the ocean. On our way we even encountered a stray camel (just parked there 😂). Also, Youssef took some really great photos and videos. Strongly recommend to try this.
