Don't take this tour! The '9' tastings were at just 2 wineries, both very poor quality. The retail price for a bottle of the champagnes we tasted was just E20. Given the tour price of over $300 per person and the hype in their viator description, I expected high quality vintages. Not the sparkling grape juice we tasted.
The lunch was even worse. It was pre-made in a jar that the restaurateur heated. Absolute garbage, especially considering the many great restaurants in the region.
The tour literally left a bad taste in our mouths!

This is the first review that is so disrespectful and false that I have read, I have more than 100 5-star reviews at the highest, you taste Champagne classified Grand Cru and hight quality vintages the lunch is typical French with local farm products ...

An outstanding tour from beginning to end. Our guide Mathis had superb knowledge of the region and the champagne production process. We are a group of 3 couples who regularly travel together across the world and this was one of our favourite experiences. The tour offers the perfect balance of tastings, cellar tours and cuisine.

Witnessed harvest season! Mattis was a fabulous guide and the small group tour to smaller champagne houses was memorable. From visiting the different orchards, seeing the entire process - from harvest to production - and sampling more so many different types of champagne. Drove through the majority of the champagne region and made several stops.
Great for those who know little or a lot about champagne and want an enjoyable day out.

The tour was a wonderful a.d very interesting day, all guided by Mattis who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My only criticisms would be the small vehicle was very tight for 8 people and very hot. Also my friend and I both agreed the lunch was very meagre, considering what we had paid. I had 3 slices of meats, some bread and some salad leaves. I advised I could not eat cheese but was not offered any alternative. Also some water should have been available in the van, especially at the spirit tasting which was on an open road. Overall though I enjoyed the day very much thanks to Mattis, the wonderful tastings and great weather...

You were in our vehicle, which is best suited to group tours, and we fully understand that it was hot in the van as you were on a tour in the middle of a heatwave. Regarding the meal, it was a typical French dish that can be shared in a convivial atmosphere. You went to our partner restaurant, which offers cheese and charcuterie as an alternative. Thank you for your advice about the water and thank you for your comment and this nice note.

Small group Tour really was fitting for this one as only 3 passengers on this tour. Matthis was just the best Host starting with handing out umbrellas due to the Heavy Rain up to ensuring we had a great time testing the champagnes plus licquours.

Our Champagne tour was outstanding. Just 6 of us in the van which make it much more comfortable in a small group. Our driver/guide Mathias was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good fun. We were 4 kiwis from NZ and had 2 Australians who quickly became friends. Lovely food and wine. A great day. Highly recommended!!

The guide was great. Weather was raining badly so had to view the vines from the mini bus window.
The lunch wasn't the best we had a stew in a glass jar which was microwaved.
Not the best for a £250.00 each tour.

A great overview of the area covered, and two contrasting visits to smaller houses producing excellent wine. 5 of us on the visit with different backgrounds and knowledge, and it all worked very well.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this tour is! Mattis was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and kind! He took the time to get to know us and really explain the process. He made us fall in love with his city and grow in our appreciation for the history!! Do yourself a favor and book this experience it is well worth the time and money. We will def be back and be bringing our friends and family with us!
