Our plane arrived early, and the trip was scheduled for a 9:15 plane arrival. Our children were on another flight but were 20 minutes late; the very rude driver said he could not wait even though we were early. He said he had a busy day and would call another driver to get the rest of our party. That sounded fine until he announced halfway through the trip that it would be another 60 euros. You advertised that you would wait 40 minutes; that did not happen! I respectfully request you credit my card for the additional 60 euros. You did not deliver the service you promised. Hello. Thank you for your feedback. The review is unfair. The booking instructions were to pick up passengers from (only one flight) Delta 44. That's precisely what we have done. Despite your flight landing earlier, our driver was there to collect you *on time*, so you did not have to wait for a driver. After a long flight trasatlantic flight, people are normally tired. We have done our par. What we always do, monitor the flight and ensure our drivers are on time for every passenger to be driven safely to their destination. What you call in your review as a terrible experience, it was nothing else but your logistics gone terribly wrong because the other flight was delayed. There were other people coming on a different flight at a different time. *we were not aware about that.* There was no mention of that on the booking! You have made plans to meet other passengers landing on a different flight without letting us know. We could have monitored that other flight (both flights), instead of monitoring the one and only flight that was provided at the moment of booking which was DL44) We could have send the driver accordingly if communication from your end was better and this could have gone a much better way. Please understand that drivers are on the road working to earn a living and have other commitments with other passengers that also need to be collected. If other passengers were coming on a different flight the best would have been to book a different taxi for them if the flight was delayed. If you wanted the driver to stay at the airport and wait for an extra hour (not 20 minutes), there was going to be a fee for it. Your party was ready for collection before 10 am. The other party taking into account the flight delayed,having to go through airport formalities. They were not going to be ready before 11 am. Thats 1 hour the driver standing at the airport when other passenger had to be collected.

Worst experience with a transfer service in my life

I will start highly praising the driver that met us at the airport. He had to wait for us due to lost luggage. He was extremely personable and accommodating. That’s where the praise ends! The owner or manager of airportcollections.net began harassing me we multiple phone calls yelling and demanding that I pay more money than the $166 euros I had already paid because he believed I needed to compensate the company for the extra 20 minutes we had to spend making a claim for our luggage. I understand if we had booked a taxi and a meter was running, this would be fair. However I had pre booked the transfer and contacted the operator about the meeting time and waiting grace period. We agreed to meet at 9:45 as our flight was to arrive at 8:35 and we had to go through passport control and collect baggage (which ended up not being there). OU flight arrived a few minutes earlier than expected so even with a small wait time for the driver, we still met him at 9:10, which is 25 minutes earlier than the time that was agreed in writing in our email exchange. The manager kept claiming during his numerous badgering phone calls that since my flight was early, my meeting time should have only been one hour after the flight arrival. This was never discussed or documented in any of the details of the booking. Further he kept wanting me to pay the additional money using a link he sent to me in a text message. This was sketchy in itself but the real problem was the angry, loud rude yelling and arguing the man harassed me with when calling me about every 2 hours throughout an entire day of my vacation. This was extremely unsettling, and caused additional stress to our family when we were already dealing with our lost luggage on a 20 day holiday to Europe. We did not need this man’s unprofessional, rude behavior. I would recommend Viator stop any connection to the operator.

Thanks for your feedback. The driver that you highly praised waited for you patiently at the airport for 3 hours while you sorted the luggage situation. We can understand that the airline lost your luggage and this of course was not your fault, but it was not the driver's fault either. You asked the driver to wait for you and he did so, You were informed about a waiting time fee that you agreed to pay and at the end you seem to forgot about it. We called you to remind you about the payment which you refused to pay at the end. The driver ended up loosing half day of work and not even a tip for 3 hours of his time. That was not nice :( We have records of the calls that we made to you trying to get payment only €35.00 to cover car park fees at the airport (not even the waiting time itself) The calls we made to you were on the same day of your collection (not through your entirely holiday). This is absolutely a false statement with the only intention to damage our reputation. We always go the extra mile for our passenger and this is exactly what you mentioned at the beginning of your comment (a praise to the driver) for our service.

I was disappointed with my ride and would like a refund. We waited 20 to 30 minutes before we were put into a taxi for transportation to the hotel. We paid for a private driver. If we wanted a taxi we could have booked it on our own. We basically paid $62 for a taxi which would have cost us $30 on our own. I sent a message to the provider but have heard nothing. I would like Viator to issue me a refund.

The reason I made these arrangements was to have a car meet and greet us upon arrival. When we arrived, no one was there. I had to call to get someone to come for us. Then it was just an airport taxi. I would never use this service again. It would have been faster and easier to just go directly to the taxi line.

Upon our arrival at the Dublin Airport, we collected our luggage and proceeded to the "Meeting Location" as directed in the advance communication from our Viator contact. There was no one there from Viator to meet as as had been committed to. We waited for 45 minutes before a Viator representative arrived, indicating that the driver who had been assigned to transport us from the airport to our hotel was not there. After another long wait while this Viator representative discussed the situation with his "boss", he finally indicated that he would transport us since the originally assigned driver was 45 minutes out. Very unprofessional and not what we have come to expect from our pas Viator experiences.
