We had a fun time on this desert safari but we really missed out on what can be the best part of a trip because the driver's English language skills were very poor.

Absolutely a fun way to see the desert! The juxtaposition of sea with desert was fantastic. Our guide/driver was good, but very quiet. I would have preferred to have someone a little more social, telling us about the region, etc. Would definitely recommend this tour for a half-day of fun.

Amazing experience. Lovely sights, with the sand dunes and the sea coming together. The drives up and down the dunes are not for the faint-hearted. But they are a truly unique experience. The vehicle shakes you up a lot and often dips down sharply or tilts alarmingly. But it is done with safety in mind. We had a caravan on 7 cars with about 20 people. The drivers were always in contact and within sight of each other. Despite a few harrowing moments, everyone seemed to love the desert and the sand dune drives. The drivers are experienced and careful. The views from the top of the dunes are wonderful. The guides also put up a show of their driving skills and this was marvellous. Certainly a memorable experience.

The best way to know the arabic desert. Unless there are children with you I strongly recommend this tour instead of the full-day tour with desert camp barbecue included.

My friend and I were in Doha for a 22 hour layover. We decided to make the most of it and see what Doha had to offer we were not disappointed. We had SO MUCH FUN! Our driver was so friendly and engaging. This was such a unique experience. Once you get to the dunes, you have the opportunity to ride one of the camels. Do it! The actual trip through the dunes was too much fun, we didn't stop laughing the entire time. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time in Qatar. June did an awesome job making sure that I experienced Qatar fully in my 14 hour layover. He went above and beyond. Moniem was a great Safari driver, and Jlo was an attentive host. Great job QIA!

Amazing tour for a short stay. We had a layover in Doha and this was a great way to see the desert in half a day. The tour guide even brought us to an area where you can do an optional camel ride for 8. You get on the camel and it walks about 100 meters through the desert with you on its back. Later on the driver drove all over the sand dunes. And it was very bumpy and fun think of a roller coaster ride. The driver did warn us not to eat before the drive but I was so hungry and we were running late to the tour that I ate a sandwich and I ended up throwing up. So my tour ended early. After that bad experience the driver took us to a place called camp where they gave us free sodas and waters and you can lounge by the beach for 20-30 minutes. I feel bad that I got sick because we weren't able to finish the tour and go to the high point of the sand dunes to take a picture. Just don't eat right before the tour or eat a few hours earlier before the tour.

Wir würden von Sayed in ehrwürdig katarischem Gewand im Jeep abgeholt. Ein echt katarischer Kontakt in dieser vielfältigen Stadt, das hat mir gefallen. Wir konnten gut mit Sayed plaudern und somit viel über das Leben in Katar erfahren. Der Trip an sich bietet einen umfassenden Einblick in die Wüstenlandschaft Katars. Auch Ölraffinerien und Campingplätze haben wir passiert. Hätten sich die Oryx Antilopen nicht so gut versteckt, Sayed hätte sie uns gerne gezeigt. Dann kam das Sand Bashing. Sehr, sehr lustig. Jeder Rummel bietet jedoch mehr Adrenalin, ich hatte mir ein Quentchen mehr erhofft. Man darf die Sicherheit nicht missachten. Und es ist schon einzigartig, im klimatisierten Jeep durch die Sanddünen zu düsen. Sayed brachte uns bis zur Saudi Arabischen Grenze, toll, damit habe ich noch ein Land mehr "gesehen". Ich kann die Tour definitiv empfehlen, gerade wenn man nicht sehr lange in Katar sein und selber rumfahren kann.
