Must Do for the wine curious

Valentin was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining! We were a small group - me and my two adult sons (USA) and a wonderful woman from Saudi Arabia. We drove to two different Wineries where we were welcomed like family. It was very educational and informative but relaxed at the same time. I highly recommend Valentin and this wine tour! If I’m fortunate enough to go back to Dijon - I would do it again!

Terrible experience

Terrible. We paid for 4 of 6 people. I arrived at 2 pm to wrong place 10 minutes away. Communication was terrible. I immediately let them know where we were. They left at 230 but could t drive 10 minutes to pick us up. My friends did make it and said it was nothing more than a long drive to 2 average winery’s. It is way better to just drive to beaune and go visit better winery’s where they at least feed you. At dinner we did a wine pairing and after each glass they said it was way better than anything they tasted. We asked if they could at least put us on another tour another day and they said they could only offer a 15% discount. I would not recommend this tour.

The meeting point, address, and directions are clearly provided in both the booking confirmation and the reminder email. Unfortunately, once the tour had departed, our guide was unable to leave the rest of the group to collect guests from a different location. Although we could not offer a complimentary alternative tour, we did offer a 15% discount on a future booking as a gesture of goodwill. Very good experience. Adam was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made the trip! Short trip visiting small villages and family wineries in a beautiful location.

Burgundy vineyard and vintner tour

Our guide Adam is a well versed expert in every aspect of Burgundy - from soil and topography origins to varieties and methods of vintners methods. Our only “regret” is that the vintners didn’t offer an opportunity to purchase and ship to home wine selections. I recommend that Viator ensure this is an option on wine tours.

We really enjoyed the wineries that Adam chauffeured us to in Pommard and Auxey-Duresses. The wines at Chateau de Melin and Domaine Coste-Caumartin were great and our hostesses were brilliant. A great tour.

Adam was a great guide! He had much patience for us newbies being introduced to wine culture, and he had a wealth of knowledge he was eager to share. We truly enjoyed the experience and learned a lot! And the French countryside is simply stunning. A very comfortable drive with beautiful views out the window. And of course, it goes without saying, the wine was superb.
