Very nice experience even on a rainy day. The wine and cheese were wonderful but what really make this a wonderful experience was Emeline. She is just a very enjoyable person and of course her expertise was great, providing information on the wine regions, the wine, and the pairings with the cheeses. Great time!

This is a wonderful introduction to wines and cheeses from the Bourgonne region of France. Four high quality wines, 2 white and 2 reds are paired with four soft cheeses, each from the same community. First the wine is tasted alone, then the first of the paired buttery cheeses is tasted. In the tastings, each wine and cheese has more body than the last. You’ll notice the subtle change in the flavor of each wine when enjoyed with the paired cheese. Emily, our host, was fun and well-versed in regional wines.

Delightful afternoon activity

I happened to do this activity on a cold, snowy day, and it warmed my heart and soul. The guide was friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. She explained Burgundy’s geography and terroir while helping me appreciate every bite of cheese and sip of wine. I left with a very satisfied palate.
