A true local who knows exceptional value Burgundian wines. I learned so much in a compact session. The
fun part is the blind tasting of exceptional quality of Burgundian wines without the Grand Cru price tag. So much fun yet discovering new flavour profiles followimg the guidance into tasting each wine. Bravo & Sante. I can do this tasting again and highly recommended.

I had a great time learning about French wines. Mattthieu was very patient with me as I'm somewhat of a novice. And the locale was a real wine cellar which was very cool - both literally and figuratively! Great experience!

If you are looking to not only taste great wines that are specific to this region but also learn what to smell, look and taste for while exploring different wines, Matthieu’s knowledge and enthusiasm about wines is perfect. We could have spent hours asking more about the Dijon wine industry; Matthieu’s depth of knowledge is amazing. The wine cave location gives this experience a very comfortable and cozy vibe, we loved and learned so much about pairing wine with different cheeses mostly from larger regions in and around Dijon. This is one of the best wine “education” tasting I’ve ever attended. He made learning about wines and their characteristics fun, interactive and engaging…and we had great conversations in addition to the wines. I grew up in the California wine country but have never been to a wine tasting like this, well worth the time.

Fantastic experience for any wine lover. Pauline was very knowledgeable, she was kind and patient with my husband’s frequent questions and answered them all. We learned lots of new things. The wines we tasted were superb and beautiful matched with French cheeses.

Small, relaxed tasting. Matthieu shares the complicated rules surround the various crus in a an easy-to-understand overview. He sets up the tasting by sharing various scents to tune your nose to various wine aromas like terroir, fruit, spice & floral. Walked away with a better understanding of wine characteristics & new knowledge of Burgundy wines.
Matthieu also provided recommendations for wine venues in nearby cities, and shared shipping info so we were able to aggregate other purchases in one shipment.
Highly recommend.

This is a must for anyone who drinks wine regardless of how knowledgeable you are. Our Master Som Matt was interesting, exciting, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I am a wine enthusiast and this session was the best two hours of my French trip. There were 6 of us and we all loved the class.

He was incredibly knowledgeable and we came away feeling like we had learned so much about the wines and the region. Matthieu was warm and personable, delivering the class in excellent English, and he went above and beyond by offering thoughtful recommendations for dining and wine experiences during our stay. Matthieu was an excellent guide for this tasting. I ended up being the only person that day but Matthieu was extremely passionate and willing to explain and answer every question I had. He also made some excellent recommendations on what to do in dijon itself. Overall it was an excellent testing experience and I came away feeling I had learned about Burgundy.

This wine tasting was great for my girlfriend, her sister, and me. We really enjoyed the experience, and Matthieu is extremely knowledgeable. With great charm and patience, he explains the wines and makes it a lot of fun. The food pairings were very helpful in understanding the characteristics of the wines.

This wine tasting is a great place to go for more advanced wine connoisseurs. Mathieu is capable of giving both basic to very advanced wine knowledge. We highly recommend this place to go if you are looking for in-depth, more profound information about the Burgundy wine region. Mathieu (Matthew in English), is a certified French sommelier, born near Dijon. So he knows Burgundy regions, grape varieties, and even wine makers. His wines are very good, off the beaten track and reasonably priced. He can answer all your questions.

Me and my son absolutely loved this experience. The sommelier gave us a private tasting with education for 2 hours (since we were the only ones there). He was so knowledgeable and had a great love of wines. I will never look at, smell or taste wines the same after this! We learned so much and the wines we tasted were absolutely delicious. A whole new world of smells and flavors opened up for us. This was an experience I’m still thinking of. Thank you!!!

Our host was so patient with us and respected what knowledge base we brought with us. In the end, we learned a lot in a short time. We thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and the selection of wines he chose from the region. Highly recommend this master class to any visitor who doesn't have all day to visit vineyards but still wants a solid introduction to both Bourgogne's famed white and red wines.
