Katrina_Z, Oct 2025
Very informative guides on the bus and on the boat. The tour around Darwin, Parap etc on the bus seeing old houses and places of interest with stories to go along with it was great. The boat ride was both cooling and exciting. Learnt so many interesting things, heard stories that were both sad and happy. Just wish we had more time at the WWII museum

Really enjoyed the tour our guide explained things well and gave us enough time at each stop to do what we needed to do at our own pace.

Ensure you take your hat on the harbour cruise. The tour of the military museum was very emotive so be prepared for that.

A morning well spent.
Clear communication on pickup time and location, and pickup was precisely as scheduled. The information provided covered the establishment of Darwin, events in Darwin prior to World War 2, the thinking behind the military presence, and the various air raids. The stops on the tour complemented the information, and added to the experience. The guides engaged, entertained, and educated the guests, which is the benchmark for any tour.

We enjoyed the War Museum to give us a better insight to the invasion of Darwin. The cruise on the harbour was also enjoyed to get a better perspective of the devastation that occurred in the harbour. A good informative tour for everyone visiting Darwin.

Great bus tour with interesting insites into the bombing. Lots of stories we had not heard before. The cruise pointed out actual defence locations and what role they played in the war.

ROLEY_G, May 2024
Booking on line was a nightmare. Tour operator communication left a lot to be desired. We were told we would be picked up at 7:30, by 8am nothing, I made a phone call and was told we would soon be collected and we would be phoned back, nothing, eventually picked up at 8:20.
The tour itself was very good but some parts were a bit hurried because of the late start, but all in all very informative.
Response from Host, May 2024
Thanks for taking the time to give us this feedback - I am sorry you had this poor start to the tour and we are working hard to make sure these technical hitches don't continue. I'm pleased you found the your worthwhile.

We learnt so much about the bombing of Darwin on this tour. Jim our tour guide gave us loads of valuable historical information that was both informative and interesting. For most Australians, I would assume, like us, the bombing of Darwin was not on our curriculum growing up so this tour gave us the story every Australian should know. What we particularly liked, was the 'real' story Jim gave us, which isn't always in the official records. The War Museum which is included was well worth the visit. This history is a history that has shaped Darwin in so many ways. This tour is new and our only constructive criticism is that it needs more time. Time to stop for photos at various sites and time for the boat trip to give people more opportunity to engage in the history of this essential tour. Thank you Jim for a truly memorable and informative tour.
Response from Host, May 2024
Thanks so much for this detailed feedback, Jim is certainly one of a kind and we are very lucky to enjoy his knowledge.

This was an amazing tour. Friendly staff who are more than happy to answer all your ‘noob’ questions!! Very informative as well as thorough. Pick up was from our hotel and they arrange a time the day before. Hubby and I loved it all. Fully air conditioned bus which was great as it was as hot as Hades!! They had water and bug spray for you if you came unprepared. Cruise part was fabulous. Darwin Barbour is stunning. Definitely worth the money. We are already trying to get the time to do this again next year!!! Highly recommend you add this o. Your to-do-list if you visit Darwin!!
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Thanks so much for your feedback, we're delighted you had such a good time and we hope we do indeed see you back again.

Highly recommend this company for this tour they were absolutely fantastic right from pick up to finish.
All tour guides on the bus and the boat were a wealth of information and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with the tour.
Even arranging pick up, etc over the phone was fantastic and so helpful.

The excellent knowledge and enthusiasm of our guides. A pleasurable tour which gave me a better insight to war in Darwin
Madelyn_N, Sep 2023
This was a great tour, it took about 4 an half hours. We got to learn a lot about the Dawin Bowbing as we well as see a lot of Darwin from the driving to and from places. The tour guide new a lot or information and spoke to us for pretty much the whole tour. Note, the oil tunnels are not included in the tour, we went and did this after the tour ended which was good.
