It can be windy out there. Wear sunscreen blackout and hang on to your hat. Also you might be more comfortable a few seats back from the front.

The tour was good, as was the commentary. The length of the tour we believe was not long enough as it seemed to be a bit rushed.
Response from Host, May 2024
Thank you very much for the feedback, this is definitely something we will need to consider - this is a new tour for us, and we will be reviewing all the feedback we receive to assess any adjustments we need to make. I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed the tour in the meantime.

Lyndall_A, May 2021
We were very disappointed with the cruise. The 2 gentlemen who took the cruise were very good but it was so boring. Looking at mangrove trees a ship through a TV screen and looking at Parliament House. The best part was getting off the boat onto the sandbank. That was the only picture I took. The tiniest piece of mango with chocolate. I am very sorry to say this but for $90 it was not worth it.
Response from Host, May 2021
Hi Lyndall, we are disappointed that you didn’t enjoy your harbour highlights cruise. The ticket price of $45 per person ($90 for 2 of you) included an hour on the boat taking in the mangrove estuary, the Darwin city seascape, the war history, a Cyclone Tracy shipwreck and on your particular cruise you also had the opportunity to visit the Cullen Bay sandbar. Also, as a treat the Captain offered some dried chocolate coated mango from Darwin’s chocolate factory. We are relieved that most of our guests don’t share your views that our harbour is boring or that our cruise is not value for money. Thankyou though for your compliments about the crew, they do enjoy their job showcasing Darwin Harbour to those who have an interest.
Chris_K, Jan 2020
This cruise was a great way to see another part of Darwin & to see the city from a different perspective. The guys give a great amount of information about Darwin’s history particularly involving the harbour. I wished I’d had the time to do their WW11 cruise as I’m sure it would’ve been different and really interesting too. Thanks guys for a great time on the harbour.
Response from Host, Jan 2020
Hi Chris, Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We appreciate your comments.

Really enjoyed this. Excellent value. Great staff and comentry. Perhaps boat layout does make it difficult for some viewing though.
Rebecca S, Apr 2019
Family run business - very personable, knowledgeable and welcoming. I really rated the copious cups of icy cold water that were free of charge. Soft drink, cider and beer (served icy cold also) were very reasonably priced and readily available. Felt very comfortable and safe throughout the journey. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth B, Apr 2018
Excellent views of Darwin harbour and a lot of knowledge on the defence of borders , natural resources , and Second World War. Definetly recommend
Libby S, Sep 2017
A great way to view Darwin from a different perspective, and a lovely way to spend a hot afternoon.
The boat only holds a small number of people, and is very comfortable, shady and rides smoothly.
Our guide was really well informed and obviously passionate about the city...we were shown all sorts of interesting things from naval docks to new apartments built on reclaimed mangroves.
It was the only harbour cruise I found that didn't just show you the sunset-really informative, fun and highly recommended.
Nice too that it's a family business :
