A long day with a knowledgeable guide/driver Rob who provided very informative commentary. Take bathers (wear under clothes for ease) , towel and snacks/lunch plus refillable water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent and wide brimmed hat. This bus was small with very little leg room so not comfortable for taller folk. There were plenty of stops that made it more tolerable. Swimming in Lichfield was fabulous and so worth the discomfort. Bus has water on board. Pick up drop off from your hotel is available and we discovered this only after asking if it was possible.
Great experience and the tour guide was excellent. Plenty of cold water was on board to refresh you along the way. Great stops along the way, with beautiful weather.
The Wetlands was good and we spotted a small freshwater crocodile. Magnetic termite mounds were very interesting too.
The swimming water holes were really relaxing and were enjoyable.
Would highly recommend.

This is a great tour Tim was excellent and very knowledgeable. Had a great vibe about him and overall a great experience. However if you are 5’10 or taller don’t take this experience there is more leg room on a jetstar plane that have none. The seats were horrible and was the down part of the experience. Not Tim’s fault but the operator. POOR POOR vehicle for a long trip made it not so memorable. It’s a pity because had this been half decent the trip would have been awesome. Maybe look at other operators that have better mini buses that suit real humans.
Very friendly host Dillon, very informative and casual, the captain on the jumping crocodile boat was also very good

Lots of beautiful waterholes and waterfalls. The cathedral and magnetic termite mounds were fascinating. Cooling off in Buley waterhole was a nice way to spend lunch.

Very informative, big crocs, even a baby one seen. Well run and great swimming holes and waterfalls.(no crocs) So many termite hills.

We had a great time at Litchfield. The swimming was amazing at the waterfalls. We also enjoyed the jumping crocodiles much more than we expected. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared great, local insights.

When picked up at the designated hotel, bus was late, we were all told that if we had booked direct with Utopia we could have all been picked up from out individual hotels.
When we arrived to the Adelaide River jumping crocodiles, after driving up and down the river for an hour and hearing all the excuses why there are no crocodiles, we never saw a crocodile.
Once we entered Litchfield NP, we were then told we could not do any swimming in any of the locations, even though at Buley Rockpool people were simply sitting in the edge of the top rock pool with no issues from flowing water.
We then got stuck in a downpour of rain when trying to look at another waterfall, even though the tour guide said it won’t rain if we are quick.
Then the termite mounds had either collapsed, again the poor tour guide apologised for that, then the remaining standing termite mounds were overgrown with spear grass which is conducive to the time of the year.
The tour bus driver was good at trying to make the best out of the day.
However, overall we were disappointed to spend $940 and all we got was a bus trip from Darwin and Litchfield NP and back with a storey teller, who we think felt guilty because of the day we had whereby we saw nothing the tour description said we would experience.

Tour guide Darryl was very knowledgeable, gave us plenty of info and cultural background of Darwin throughout. Jumping crocodile cruise was fun seeing the wildlife so closeup. We were also very lucky didn’t get caught in the rain during this wet season.

Good way to see the highlights of Litchfield National Park. Coach was air conditioned and comfortable. Guide was knowledgable about local wildlife and local history.
Make sure to bring your own towels and gear for swimming and brief walks (0.5-1.5km). Stops for lunch and restroom breaks were only at service stations stations, no time to order a full meal. Recommend you pack snacks and lunch.

Really good experience, lovely nature. Guide was very knowledgeable and nice, gave us lots of info about history, area etc while driving so we also got to spot/understand some things while driving to specific spots mentioned in the itinerary. Only thing that couls be better is to give us a chance to swim at two waterfalls, not just one, as water looked amazing!

Long day, packed full but very good and our tour guide / driver was great fun. Some of crocodiles on the “jumping croc” boat tour were feeling lazy but the boys on board made sure we got to see what we came for. Make sure to wear your walking shoes if you want to do the 3km walk near Florence Falls and definitely take a floaty device for the waterfall pool swim at the end.

Exploring of Fogg Dam is a bit of an overstatement as we weren’t able to get out of the bus for any viewing platforms despite waiting for the crocodile cruise to return for 20 minutes. Litchfield itself is great and worth the visit but you’d be better off doing a full day at the park if you weren’t doing the croc cruise.

For us the guide helps fulfill the promise of the tour. Dani, our guide, was great, as was the tour itself. The Park was wonderful to see, a treasure. The second part of our tour was the Croc cruise. Great day for this 7km cruise; we saw birds of prey (Black Kite, I think) and of course Crocodile (Saltwater). Lots and lots of information shared that was sort of academic but it was really interesting. Then the 'teasing' of the crocs to jump for food, we met Roger and Mama (special).

Swimming at the rock pools and water falls is an experience worth the time and heat visiting. Take a towel and bathers and sunscreen and your set. Some fly spray might help as well.
