Very interesting, loved the aviation and natural museums we visited. Warren and Jess our tour guide and driver were excellent.
Kewal_a, Apr 2025
Had difficulty booking. Meeting location was totally confusing because the hotel had changed its name (few years ago) but Viator never updated the information
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Dear Kewal,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you chose to travel with us and hope you enjoyed your overall experience.
Regarding the meeting location confusion, we always recommend that guests contact the tour supplier at least 24 hours prior to departure to reconfirm pick-up details. This helps ensure the most up-to-date information is received, especially in cases where hotel names or pick-up points may have changed over time.
Thank you again for travelling with us—we appreciate having had the opportunity to host you.
AAT Kings Team.

Mel was a great guide. We saw a lot in a short time. The airplane museum was interesting. I could have spent more time in the gardens. And the museum was great.

The Aviation museum, Darwin botanic gardens, Aboriganl art museum were all fantastic.
Unfortunately the big bus we were on you couldn't see anything the driver was pointing out along the way and it would have been great if he had of stopped in some places and let us look and take a photo.
Bus way too big, smaller bus and fewer people and maybe we could have seen out the windows.

Very informative; a good way to get oriented in Darwin. Knowledgeable guide. The Aviation museum was well worth the trip

Mark at AAT was very knowledgeable on Darwin’s history & provides some light hearted comedy along the way. Great way to spend a 1/2 day in Darwin.
ursula_k, Jun 2022
It was all enjoyable. Commentary from the guide was informative and interesting. Maybe a little more time and information about the botanical gardens would have been a bonus…. Especially about the local fauna and flora.

Our driver/ guide Mark (Marcus) was very informative. He was punctual, welcoming and make the trip very interesting pointing out various locations
Miranda_S, Sep 2021
Would of loved more time at each main stop as there was so much to see in a short amount of time. Full day would be ideal - plus enjoy an lunch somewhere.

Perfect way to get your bearings. Good commentary about the devistating cyclone Tracy. The air museum was the highlight. Thoroughly recommend it. Disappointed that there was no sunset cruise, but on the end the bus driver solved the issue by recommending dinner at the sailing club and watched the sunset from there
Response from Host, May 2021

Pleasant tour, met similar age people.
Web page misleading, appeared to have hotel p/u at 12 pm, optional sunset cruise, pm?
Recievef phone call at 8:30 am for hotel p/u. Was informed itinerary changed recently
Response from Host, May 2021

Thanks for your review, and we are glad to read you had a great time and met fellow travellers on the trip with you.
I have looked into the departure time and we do have a time for an 8:30 pick-up on this particular tour. We will certainly review the website to see where it shows a an alternative pick-up time, and we apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Great introduction to Darwin. Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Whether my appetite to go back to the places visited. In saying that, time spent at each location was perfect for a tour. Highly recommended.

You were left alone for 4 hours with no one to help you. If not for the staff at Croc cove we would have been lost. The 8 hour guided tour is only 4 hours because the first 4 hours it's up to you to take the tour yourself. This was a waste of cash, don't do it.
Norma_J, Feb 2014
When I arrived at Crocosaurus Cove I found there was no group and no guide. Plus it was raining. I visited the different exhibits and enjoyed the wild life presentation. About the time I was leaving a large group of school children arrived and the area is a bit small for such a large group in the rain The man in the gift shop gave me my voucher for lunch at The Tap but before that I had to go further up the street to find out the details for the afternoon tour. Lunch was pretty good but I had to stretch it to fill the time. The city tour was also in the rain. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable about Darwin and I got to see a lot out the bus window. The museum stop was very good as I enjoy going to museums--especially the aborigine display and the one on Cyclone Tracy. Unfortunately the sunset cruise was canceled due to the bad weather--no visibility and rough water. The tour ended on a high note when she took us back to the hotel instead of leaving us in the Transit Center where we got on. It would have been much better if it had not rained.

City Tour is good . Crocosaus is disappointing . More animals could be added . For eg, other reptiles and large fishes from various places.
