A must see when in Cordoba! We were so lucky with the weather and the most knowledgeable guide (who speaks spanish, french, italian, english and ancient greek?!!). It takes a lot of imagination to reconstruct the ruins but with our guides help it came back alive!

Great Private Tour

My wife and I did a private tour with Alberto. We are both interested in ancient history and the story behind Medina-Azahara is truly fascinating. Though pricy, I don't think we would have enjoyed the site nearly as much without Alberto and the insight he brought. And, by going private we arrived well before the larger tour groups swarmed in at mid-morning.

This was an amazing tour for us. Our guide, Javier, possesses a deep knowledge of the history and culture of the site. He customized the tour to fit the needs of a couple with limited knowledge of the topic. I felt like I was back in school attending a class with my favorite teacher. He would be a wonderful guide for anyone regardless of their knowledge of the history of the area.

Cordoba Mosque Tour

Our guide Angela provided a great tour experience for our visit to the Mosque in Cordoba. She walks us through the most impressive parts of this huge building, helped us understand the history and context of when it was built and then changed over the years, and pointed out many unique elements. We also walked thru the old town and the Jewish quarter which had its own unique elements. I would have enjoyed strolling by the river and across the bridge but this was beyond the time of the tour, and it was an unusually hot day. Overall I highly recommend this tour.

With Carmen we had a 3 hour private tour who let us understanding the evolution of the muslim society and the end of the calife...very valuable tour,with transportation and an excellent guide,a far better tour than Alcazar in Cordoba

La visita muy bonita e interesante. La guía encantadora y muy amable pero par ser una visita privado (objetivo que se pudiera adaptar al público que tenía) nos falto un poco. Sabía muchísimo pero nos falto más contenido para situarnos, nos explico mucho de la Medina pero com poca situación de lo que representaba y era. Por ejemplo con imágenes complementarias ayudaría a situar.
