The ruins are very interesting and still surprisingly intact in much of the site. Our guide Pilar was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and specific aspects of it.

Paki was in incredible guide to see these amazing sites in Cordoba! Might be my favorite tour of our 10 days in Spain. She was a very knowledgeable guide and a true historian about the subject matter. In addition, Paki presented it all with a lot of humor, which helps since a 4 hour tour could get to be an information overload or boring if presented dryly as only a set of historical facts. Instead, she interjected stories and humor to make it all super interesting!

Isabella our guide must have had an off day. 1. She didn't introduce herself - there were only 4 in our entire tour. 2. She seemed very uninterested in the groups experience, she was just going through the motions. She kept saying I'll tell you later - well later never came 3. When we did ask questions she was 10 feet ahead of us and didn't hear us most of the time. 4. We rushed to the Mosque just to wait for another group of 6 to meet up with our group to continue the tour. 5. She then repeated 30% of what she told us b4 combining goups.
Thankfully the Mosque was so beautiful it made up for the unfortunate experience we had with Isabella.
I would book another tour if I knew uninterested she was in her job.

I was present during this tour as part of the staff, and I can assure you that Isabella did introduce herself to the group, and the pace of the tour was designed to be leisurely, allowing time for stops at key points where she provided detailed explanations about the rich history of the Jewish Quarter.
Regarding the questions about the Mosque, they were addressed later because they were asked while the group was still in the Alcázar or in another place, and Isabella assured everyone that these details would be covered when we arrived at that part of the tour. We understand that every client has their own preferences, and we aim to adapt as much as possible to everyone's needs.
The additional small group that joined us at the Mosque were spontaneous visitors, and since the original group was very small, we welcomed them in a spirit of inclusivity. These guests were very appreciative of the tour, expressing their satisfaction and even tipping Isabella for her excellent guidance.

Enjoyed the small group structure & had two guides - both were excellent. The tie was an hour too long for my attention span- 4 hours total. I wish I had booked the Mezquita seperstely to do the history justice. I ended up pairing off with our daughter to see it on our own after too much information overload of 3 hours prior. My husband loved the Mezqita tour.

Our guide Paqui was brilliant. The best that i have had the privelige to
interact with during all the tours taken by me in Valencia, Alhambra or Seville, Cordoba. Our wonderful, knowledgeable and experienced guide gave us the best tor we have been on. The mosque was so incredibly unique and overwhelmingly beautiful. Or tour was 3 and 1/2 hours! Well worth it !

It was the best guided tour of all the ones we had in Southern Spain (we did at least one in every city/historical site). Paki was an excellent story teller and her passion in history came through throughout the tour. It was fascinating how history developed and repeated itself in different times and places, and Paki’s humorous interpretation made it a very enjoyable experience. The places we visited on the tour were among the most amazing in Europe.

Our trip was today, 31.5.2024 at 13:00-3:30.
It's 38C today. Super hot. I was dreading this trip with my 9yr old daughter. However, despite the heat the tour was amazing. Most of the tour was indoors,which helped. The architecture of these buildings helped in the cooler indoors.
The tour guide was very educated in the history of this place. A true historian. It helped in keeping things interesting.
My daughter is sitting next to me,and wants me to let you all know,that this trip is highly recommended....I agree.

Although the sites are worth seeing, especially the Alcázar gardens and the Mosque Cathedral, this small group tour was poorly organized and one of the guide’s English was not up to the task. We arrived at 10:30 but the entrance tickets for the Alcázar were at 11:00, so we had to wait. At this time there were 7 of us in the group. Once we got in, the guide, whose English was very hard to understand, spent too much time in the first few rooms, then rushed us through the gardens because she had a deadline to pick up 4 more people before we entered the Jewish Quarter. Then before entering the Mosque-Cathedral we had to wait while they added 4 more to the group, then wait for new guide (who was excellent) to arrive. So the 4 hour tour included 1 hour of waiting to access sites or integrate new tourists. I would recommend the itinerary but not this company.

Overall the experience was of the location was worth the effort but the tour guides were unprepared and failed to have their tickets in order which meant not being on time by an hour of additional waiting despite having reservations planned around our schedule so we missed out on a lot and our guide was in English but we she barely could translate properly and the skip the line concept did not matter unlike other tours

Unfortunately our tour guide for Alcázar and the Jewish quarter struggled to give the tour in English and consequently we did not get many details and historical info for these sites. Our second guide, who took us through the Mosque, spoke excellent English and this made this part of the tour informative and interesting.

Our guide was excellent and had a wonderful sense of humòr. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of Cordoba, the Alcazar and the Cathederal/Mosque. We saw everythjng we wanted to see and never felt rushed. Our guide made the tour very special and her English, Spanish and French were excellent.

Really great guide for this three and a half hour tour. She gave us historical overview and contacts for what we were seeing. She "read the room" and scaled back on the names and dates when it was a little too much for some. She told the stories that made the great works human and personal. Then she casually pointed out an Old Town manor house and told the story of the family that built it. It happened to include the Airbnb apartment where we were staying. Well, what more can you ask for?
Been traveling in the south of Spain for 2 months and this was our best guide experience.

Despite the unexpectedly horrendous weather we enjoyed the tour very much. Carmen was helpful and knowledgeable, provided just the right amount of information. The group size, pacing and the order of the sights was great, and the audio devices were very useful to listen to the tour guide even from a little further away. After the Alcazar some more people joined our group for the rest of the tour, here we lost some time as we had to wait for late arrivals but it wasn't more then 10 mins so it wasn't a huge issue. Finishing at the Mosque allowed people to stay and spend some more time there if they wanted to.
The tour was absolutely worth it, we've learned so much more about the history and life in Cordoba than we would've just by visiting by ourselves.

How do you enjoy your tour of the great sites of Cordoba while it is absolutely pouring and you’re soaked? Answer: You must have Carmen as your tour guide. We were so wet, cold and our college age child rather sick, but we’d booked the tour (difficult during Semana Santa) and we were committed. Truly, we enjoyed it so much and learned so much. Carmen is VERY knowledgeable, good at moving people at a nice pace and so kind to all in our group, including a couple pushing and using a wheelchair over the narrow, cobbled roads. We definitely got our money’s worth and highly recommend it, perhaps on a drier day.
