Make your way to the central meeting point in Cordoba to meet your guide and join your group.
Then, continue to the Jewish Quarter for a tour featuring the synagogue (closed on Mondays and holidays) and a bronze statue of Maimonides. Learn about this storied philosopher, rabbi, and physician from your guide.
Visit the marketplace, once a souk, then head to the Mezquita (Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba), one of the most-visited monuments in Spain, for your guided tour through the 8th-century religious building.
Learn about the complex history of this site from your guide as you walk through its forest of striped horseshoe arches, admire the ornate decorations of the mihrab (prayer niche), and inspect later Christian additions.
You can continue to explore the cathedral independently, if you wish, after your guide bids you farewell.

Very attractive public area, with spacious shared bedroom space. Lockers are too small for check-on luggage, my lown ocks did not fit, bur I trusted roommates and all was well. This is my second such experience with little secure luggage area, plus the hostel states they are not responsible for lost items. Lockers need to be larger, with fitting locks available to purchase!

Jose did a good job giving us history and truly a good way to see the Cathedral/Mosque.

I think the tour was great. We had Azhara as our tour guide and she was absolutely wonderful and even stayed a little after to answer questions. She didn’t rush through the tour which is common for big groups. I would say the bad thing is you can’t go back into the mosque cathedral and we didn’t get much time to walk around ourselves which is a shame because the place is ginormous and absolutely stunning.

This activity was offered, by Viator, in the Argentinean section. I booked it BUT GUESS WHAT. The tour was in Spain. Then why it shows up in the Argentinean section?

While the mosque cathedral is magnificent ( 5 star experience ) the tour guiding was low quality. 1) the headphones were terrible with heavy static - I removed them and guided myself with Gemini while walking along with the group 2) the guide spoke very fast English which compounded by the accent was very difficult. Other options including booking a skip the line directly with the official Audio headset can be considered.

The tour is broken into two parts, each with a different guide; the Jewish Quarter outside and then the Mosque/Catedral inside. The Jewish Quarter part was extremely crowded with many tour guides operating at the same time. We lost sight of our guide several times and she had to do a head count and do a roll call before proceeding. The guide for the Mosque/Cathedral part was amazing and very knowledgeable.

Don’t try to change the number of people in your booking. Despite trying to reduce our party from 3 to 2 36 hours before the tour we were told the minimum number for this activity had not been met. There were over 20 people on the tour!!!

Poor experience getting onto the right tour. The confirmation email with information links had error messages. The tour group lead didn’t find us and we missed the tour. This was a fail on Viator to provide the service promised

Our tour guide, Jose, was informative and incredibly kind. He was careful to keep us together as a group given the amount of people in the area. For a day trip from Seville, the 2.5hr tour was perfect. If you are under time constraints (and want a guided English language tour), I recommend doing this one.

This was a fantastic tour! The old Jewish quarter was enlightening and informative. The walk was perfect in length and we had a 15 minute break before going into the Cathedral.
The tour inside the Cathedral was over the top with sights and history.

Tour office is easy to locate and well organized. Our guide was easy to understand and highly motivated. There is so much history in Cordoba , and our guide was a great history teacher. We left with a greater understanding of what we were seeing here. It was also a great opportunity to meet people from other countries. Definitely consider this tour if you are in Cordoba .

Our tour guide was so good and provided a professional tour, but I couldn’t hear much because the earphones and equipment are so bad. This tour company needs to upgrade their very poor equipment. Others in our group also listened to loud static during the tour. Hopefully this company will respect both their tour guides and us paying customers with new equipment. I’ve had 8 tours around Spain during these past 10 days and this was the first company that had lousy equipment. Travelling is expensive and tours are usually worth it if one can hear the tour guide!

This tour was really two tours in one. It covered both the Cordoba Mosque and the Jewish Quarter, with a short break between the two tours. We were given headsets, so it was easy to hear everything our guide said. The tours were well-organized and just the right length. In this two-in-one tour we experienced a synagogue, a mosque, and a cathedral, not to mention centuries of history.
