Mr Raja Deepal was our English-speaking driver-guide for our 6 days, 5 nights journey from Colombo to Kandy, Mirissa, and back to Colombo. Throughout the trip, Raja was consistently helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. He drove carefully and responsibly, which gave our family great peace of mind. His local insights and willingness to accommodate our schedule made the experience smooth and enjoyable. We were also very impressed with the service provided by the organising agent, Merganser (Sri Lanka) Holidays. Their responses to our queries were prompt and professional, and the arrangements were well-coordinated from start to finish. We would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for the first time, and we would certainly engage their services again for future trips.

My husband & I extended our trip from India to Sri Lanka, unsure of what to expect. SL is such a beautiful country, wonderful & helpful people, so many things to do & see, with the help of our great driver, Krish. We booked a 4 day tour, not long enough, but we definitely will need to do a 20 day tour. We went from Colombo, Yala (Safari), Ella, train to Nanu Oya, then drove to Kandy, then ended in Negombo. We thank him for being timely every morning, driving safely, & keeping the AC on, car clean every day, being flexible with plans & made sure we could customize the itinerary the in country as well. The company provided us with great communication upfront with pricing and what to expect in the package, a whole itinerary for everyday, & inclusions / exclusions. Great WhatsApp communication, as well, whenever needed. We booked hotels on our own within our budget & went over the mileage limit, but prices were reasonable. We had a little difficulty with communication as some things were hard to explain in English, and would have appreciated other things to do than hikes, but in the end, things worked out. We definitely would recommend this company if you don’t want to backpack or navigate the train system fully. Thank you!!
