It was a good tour, even though the information shared during the whole day were unsatisfactory. The driver told me after leaving Colombo that the ride will take about 2h. We reached the forest after 3:45h. 😉 Also, I have not been informed that I had to pay the guide on site in cash and I was also not aware of the price. Not ideal…
This said, the rest of the tour was fine. The guide was friendly and the tour offered a short glance on the forest, some plants and an impression of the stunning biodiversity here. Depending on your focus, other tours might be more informative or tailored, but it’s good to get a first glance of a rain forest.
My highlight: The fresh mango juice in the small restaurant nearby the entrance! Don’t miss…

We are Extremely Sorry for the Inconvenience That Happened, Due to the Pandemic in Sri Lanka. All the attraction Entry ticket prices have increased a bit recently. thats why you had to pay that little extra amount separately. And our Driver had forgotten to inform you about that Before you Start the Trip to Rain Forest. We are Really Sorry for the Mistake He Made. And We Have Hardly Advised the Driver. also we Have Updated the Tour Price with the increased Entry Fee Cost. So it Will Never Happen Again.
