Colombo is a very clean city the local people are very friendly & welcoming, we went to temples, a market that unfortunately wasn't very good but our guide & driver Chritopher made up for that by taking us to another place which was ok,, we sampled King coconut drink which was refreshing & not what we expected Sri lanka is a beautiful country its a pity we didn't have more time there as had to be back on ship but hopefully we'll be visiting sri lanka in the future, would recommend a trip to colombo & further on this beautiful island.

The tuck tuck tour was not at all as stated. We were two couples travelling together and had 2 tuk tuk. They were nothing special and one wasn’t working properly and had to be pushed started. The only food we were offered were hopper pancakes with eggs and warm water. One of the drivers was a guide but the other one had nothing to say. The tour was very expensive and disappointing. We realize Sri Lanka is suffering right now but that shouldn’t be at the expense of the Tourist.

A tuk tuk tour is a must in Colombo. It is one of the best ways to get around the city which can get very busy at time. This tour was complete, we saw most of the sights and the driver was very flexible with what to see and accommodating. Booking a tour like this is a good way to go, if you pick up a tuk tuk in front of the hotel, you might find yourself at jewelry shop or other shop for an unscheduled stop. My driver was professional, we just stuck to the schedule and I had a great tour. Good way to introduce yourself to the city.

Would highly recommend this experience. So much fun, our tuk tuk driver/guide had so much banter, so funny and we really had an amazing time! As well as seeing the main sights, he also took us through the little roads and we visited coffee, tea and spice markets. We ended with a taste of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. This has been one of the highlights of my trip!

We had an awesome tour with our competent drivers. We had already been on a sightseeing tour, but our drivers showed us some very different places - very fine service. Later we had dinner in a place you are not likely to find by yourself - what a very special, exciting experience. We can highly recommend this tour. Try it. Sysser and friend from Denmark

Our guide did a fantastic job showing us the sites of Colombo and surrounds in his unique tuk tuk. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, one of the best experiences we had on our trip overseas to Sri Lanka and couldnt recommend this tour more highly to everyone! A very pleasant experience! Wow. Just brilliant. If you only have four hours in Colombo, this is how you should spend it. We had a fun and informative evening, TASTY too, with Big Papa, as we made our way around Colombo in his pimped out Tuk-Tuk learning about the sights of the city and tasting some of its delicacies. Faultless and a must do.

Leonardo Dicaprio was our tour guide and he was AWESOME!
There was a mix-up with which tour we booked and he was told we were doing a city tour and not a food tour, but he quickly called and made the change with his management.
Leonardo did take us sight-seeing around the city a little dropping us by a temple and then showing us a lot of the sites, before starting the food part of our tour.
The tour began with coconut drinks in real coconuts and then we went to the outdoor market area and were served fresh mango drinks. We joined up with another small group, which was a lot of fun.
We then went to a tea house and my brother bought some expensive white teas.
After that we went to a restaurant and each got 3 egg hoppers sweet, spicy and plain.
We were supposed to go somewhere next but got sidetracked when a motorcyclist crashed. The driver was okay, but our driver and my brother who I was traveling with got out to help. That was near the Arcade Independence Square - where a beauty pageant was being filmed for TV.
When we were finished watching, we were supposed to go for dinner, but we were stuffed from the hoppers and a really bad rain storm had started and we were very nervous in the tuk tuk. Our driver was very confident in getting us around safely, but since we do not have that kind of storms back home, we begged to go back to our hotel. Leonardo felt terrible and offered to bring us our dinner to-go but we'd eaten enough and just wanted to get in from the rain.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience!!
