My friend and I did this tour with our driver, Sarath, who was amazing! He safely got us from each excursion and communication with him and the tour operators were very smooth. We loved Sigiriya, Dambulla, the lunch spot, and the elephant safari. It was a very long day (arrived back to the hotel at 9:30pm) but wouldn’t change a thing. If you only have one day, highly recommend this tour!!

Great visit to two must-see locations

Despite the long journey from Colombo, this was a very memorable day! Beware of the heat at Sigiriya and bring water. The food at the lunch location, Pradeep restaurant, was the best food I had in Sri Lanka. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable.

We had a great experience on our tour of Dambulla & Sigiriya! The cave temple is a short but cool experience and the paintings on the rocks are impressive. Sigiriya is a great hike (mostly steep steps but it goes by quickly) and the views are incredible. We also stopped at Huluru Eco Park on the way back because the knowledgeable driver said that’s where the most elephants were that day. Our driver Sanchitha was great and helped make the trip so much fun. He always knew the answers to our questions and was very punctual, considerate, and thoughtful. We were very comfortable in the car, which was important given the long drive to get there and back.

Christmas With The Elephants

What an amazing day! I had a great time celebrating Christmas with this company. The tour guide was amazing and very personable. His English was perfect. I also asked if they would drop me off in Kandy instead and they did for a fair price. The manager of this company is awesome as well. He is well organized and very accommodating. He asks you throughout the day how the tour is going and he makes sure you’re taken care of. The only issue was that the site tickets were not included. That’s fine but I did not know the prices of each site I had to go to the ATM 3 times in 1 day. Other than that we had an amazing day! We also saw elephants in their natural habitat! They also offer additional services such as ride transfers and the price was fair as well. It was about the same price as PickMe, which is Sri Lanka’s version of Uber.

Cette excursion a été amputée d’une ou deux visites en raison du temps nécessaire pour atteindre la région visée, au moins un deux heures de plus que ce nous avions envisagé selon la description. Heureusement notre conducteur était extraordinaire, ce qui nous a permis de bien profiter du site exceptionnel de Sigiriya. Activité réservé aux amateurs d’escalade, 1 200 marches.
