last minute idea while we were in Colmar. All seven of us joined in the game as we walked around to explore the beautiful city. Much bigger than I expected

It’s a cute quick way to see main sights in the city and learn about its history. It took about 2 hours without rushing. The clues were cute but some were word scrambles of French words. We just skipped those 2. The rest were really fun and not too difficult. Definitely worth it if you want a quick, fun way to learn the history of the city.

Everything basically works. There is interesting information and a riddle at each station. I had expected that the riddles would provide clues for the next station or at least have something to do with a treasure hunt. Basically, you walk from point to point following a Google Maps route. The riddle is irrelevant. Once you have solved the riddle, you cannot read the information about the location again at a later time. That bothered me. It is also unclear why everyone must have their own ticket. Everyone does the same thing for themselves. Rather unfortunate.

The digital city walk was an absolute hit for us. The children had a great time solving the puzzles and learned a lot. The time frame of two to two and a half hours is realistic.
