Our group had a great time with Thierry our guide! He was super knowledgeable about the region and the wine and so funny and personable. 10/10 would recommend and do again!
I booked an Airbnb in Colmar and was looking for a way to see more of the countryside. This was a perfect half-day adventure to see some of the other towns in the area, learn about the history of wine in this area, how wine is sold, the family history of wines, and of course taste from two different vineyards. Thierry was a great tour guide. I appreciated his deep knowledge on everything from World War II history to winemaking. He was very easy to understand and made us all feel welcomed on the tour.
Thierry was a lovely guide for the region! My fiancée and I enjoyed the wine tasting immensely and I would highly recommend joining for the experience if you’re wanting to sample the local wines in Colmar!! I would have some snacks beforehand to make sure you’re ready for all the lovely wines!
We enjoyed visiting two excellent vineyards with unique, high-quality wines and knowledgeable guides. The beautiful scenery and tastings were highlights. Our driver was friendly, though a little more guidance around wine purchases would have been helpful. We would have preferred more scenic viewpoints, but overall it was a very enjoyable tour!
Wonderful. Little town of Eguishein was delightful. Winery was great, wine was delicious. Our second stop was a small private winery owned by a lovely winemaker. She sat with us for an hour and offered tastes of everything. We all bought wine, had a lovely day together meeting new friends.
I've done a lot of tours including history and wines tours through Viator and similar apps in the past. I've always been happy and never have had a negative review. Unfortunately, I felt like this tour wasn't well coordinated. It felt as though the 4 hours weren't used very well considering the wineries were about 10-20 minutes from Colmar. We got to go up to a couple view points quickly that were okay but had no time in the towns and it all felt rushed. The wineries we visited we visited were great but the tasting offered minimal information and we got very little information about winemaking and history of the area overall. Usually on tours like this the guide talks while you're driving around but he didn't give us any information while driving and didn't seem too interested in our questions.
For the price I felt pretty disappointed because we could have easily ubered over to the wineries and not paid as much and had a better experience if it wasn't going to be a full tour with lots of information. We ended up going ourselves to a nearby village another day and doing a wine tasting at a small winery and taking the mini train tour and though that was much better.

The best part of the tour was riding through the beautiful villages. There was a lot of wine tasting, more than I could handle.
This was a wonderful ride through the countryside to neighbouring towns to visit two very charming wineries with a very knowledgeable guide. Manon was a very nice young lady who did a great job explaining the Alsace region and the wine making process. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.
Really personable and knowledgeable tour guide. We went to 2 very unique, small wineries and sampled much more variety of wines than other tours we’ve been on. It was really lovely to get to pick and choose the wines we would like to try rather than being restricted to someone else’s selection.
Our family with two 24 year olds had never tried a wine tasting before. Our guide set a comfortable mood and we were joined by two experts. It helped make it a fun afternoon. The two tastings on our half day were relaxed and the staff at each tasting room readily answered any questions in my group that included novice and experienced wine drinkers.
We had a great experience with Carlos! He is very knowledgeable and patient. His passion for the art and history of wine, and the personal touches (like great photography skills and some extra sightseeing) made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t recommend this wine trip more 😊
Thierry était une merveille! A knowledgeable, approachable guide with an excellent sense of humor and effervescent personality. Visits at two very different domaines highlighted all that Alsace has to offer. I’m so glad that I did this tour and would recommend it to anyone!

Alsace region has always been a place my husband and I wanted to see and experience. Lucas was an excellent guide. It was a small group, us and one other couple. We appreciated the photo of the meeting place, making it easy to find. Book this full day tour, it is worth it. We visited 3 wineries and two villages. We all had lunch together which added to the positive experience. Thank you for a lovely day despite the rain. This day will stay in our memories.

Excellent experience yesterday! Our guide was a sommelier earlier in his career, and shared a lot of insights about the wines of Alsace, the history and people with us. We visited two wineries, one established hundreds of years ago, the other 12 years ago. They each served multiple samples of their products along with answering our questions. A tour of the cellar was also included. In addition, we also stopped at a lookout point for an appreciation of the Alsace region. A brief stop at the memorial to the WWII battle of Colmar provided a different historical context. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful tour from Myriam to two villages outside of Colmar. She is knowledgeable and so friendly, answering all our questions and giving us so much interesting information and history about Alsace, wines, the vineyards, and the villages. The wine tasting was great, she took us to two wineries who gave us many tastings. We got to stop for pictures with grape vines along the way.
A lovely guide drove us through part of the wine trail, she spoke very good english and had a great sense of humour. We visited two friendly producers and had the opportunity to taste numerous wines.
It was great to get out of Colmar and visit a couple of small villages along with our tastings. The two tastings were quite different so good to compare and contrast.
It is very easy going experience. We had two wine tastings and visited several villages around Colmar.
Our guide made this experience 100% worth it. The small group setting was perfect for real conversations and insight from a local, which was so much better than a scripted tour. The wine tastings were informative and delicious (we bought several bottles per stop), but the highlight was our personal interactions with the wine makers and our guide. We were able to learn about the history and culture of Alsace and Alsatians, in addition to the local wine industry and production process - all while sampling an array of wines tailored to our taste preferences. We also had time to visit one of the medieval old town villages between tastings with our guide pointing out historical sights and local history. At the conclusion of the tour, he provided personalized restaurant recommendations for the days following our tour and even made a reservation for us for that evening. 100% recommend this tour!
Miriam was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable of the wines, winemakers and area. She has a lovely large Mercedes van that was very comfortable, and she drove us through the country side and let us visit an adorable village that is 100s of years old.
Excellent tour. We were taken to a small private vineyard and a second larger vineyard and given tastings of several different varieties of wine. Our favorite was the first small private vineyard we visited where we learned quite a bit about the different wines. Would highly recommend.
This was an exceptional trip. It was truly enjoyable and worth every penny. I learned a lot and loved going to the little wine houses in the middle of Alsace. All of the tastings were wonderful with transportation.
