Fantastic hiking experience! Salvie was an excellent guide, always responsive and willing to help and give suggestion also to the other people on the way up to the top if he though they needed some kind of help. The view at the top is spectacular: is not an easy hike, but it definitely worths the effort

Amazing experience

Fatima was an amazing guide. The hike was a little more difficult than we expected but she went at our pace with needed breaks. The view was spectacular and information she provided about the mountain was great.

Too crowded, too noisy

We booked our hike during Cape Town's UTC (ultra trail). It was very busy on the trail. The company should not be offering hikes during this race. In addition, some people were playing bagpipes on the mountain and another group was constantly shouting and played music from loudspeakers. One goes to nature to escape the city, not to deal with business and noise. Playing music of any sorts shouldn't be permitted on these hiking trails.

You booked a hike for 30th November 2. Loud music and people are out of our control. We do not own the trails and have to share with the public 3. You informed you guide that you understood that this was out of our hands. 4. You tipped our guide for good service. At the end of the day, we gave you the best possible service in a not so ideal context. Fatima did an excellent job as you confirmed. This would have also been the same if it was cloudy or raining but that is the name of the game when it comes to our mountains and guiding. You have to work with what you have. We do the best we can given the conditions. Please note your review is a personal opinion not a reflection of our service to you on the day.
