Depart Cannes and admire the stunning views as you travel along the coastal road toward Eze. This Medieval village is the home of famous perfumery Fragonard, where you’ll have a guided tour to learn the complexities of creating perfumes.
Next, head for the city-state of Monaco. Visit the Old Town and the Grand Casino and take a spin on the Formula One Grand Prix race car circuit. Unfortunately, we were not able to port in Cannes, France due to the French Navy doing drilling exercises. Viator's guide was not able to go to the port either. We learned this less than the 24 hours that was necessary to get a refund. The most frustrating part is that the Viator guide would not have been able to fulfill this tour either as the port was closed and he could not pick us up. I contacted the Viator guide immediately to let them know this. The guide had already learned the port was closed so never even left his home to pick us up. I tried to dispute us not getting refunded for this tour and was denied our requests even after reaching out to Viator superiors. I don't think this was professional as none of us were able to connect due to the port closure. Very disappointed in how this was handled. We were charged $921.80 for no service.

Cannes and Monte Carlo are beautiful. Itchy the tour guide was great…but that’s where the good stops. We spent $940 on an 8hr tour and only got 6.5hrs. Requested a partial refund for lost 1.5hrs and was told no…even with escalation to Viator management (supposedly). Terrible business ethics!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent tour. We would like to clarify the situation in detail.
At the time of your tour, a military exercise took place, which unfortunately prevented the boat from disembarking as originally planned. This event was entirely beyond our control, and we were only informed about it approximately one hour before the scheduled departure. Because of this late notification, we were unable to adjust plans earlier.
Please note that the tour was indeed scheduled and carried out as best as possible under the circumstances. Our driver was already present at the port to pick you up and had other appointments later in the day. Despite this, he waited for more than two hours to accommodate you.
Due to this unforeseen event, which was independent of our will, we are unable to offer a refund related to the disruption.
We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again in the future under better conditions.

We booked a private tour from Cannes to Monaco and E'ze. Adreienne was our driver and we absolutely LOVED her. She was flexible to make sure we spent time where we wanted, and she even spent some time going up Eze with us. She is happy to give time on your own or spend time with you. She is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. I felt bad that I wasn't feeling 100% but she made everything comfortable for me. Highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful day trip from Cannes to Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze. Our guide Antione was extremely knowledgeable, sharing details about culture and life style. We started out at the palace in Monaco and a visit to the beautiful gardens and views of Monaco. We were able to watch the changing of the guard ceremony.
He then drove us to Monte Carlo to experience the Casino and drive the F1 track pointing out the famous turns, pit areas and yacht viewing areas. We had some free time for a little extraordinary window shopping then he took us to a fascinating tour of a perfume factory where he had arranged a tour and shopping! A little taste of how the other half lives! Thank you Tony! A must do trip for anyone visiting Cannes.

Best decision I made on our cruise was booking this day trip where we had control. I was traveling with my parents in their 80’s and our guide Giorgio was so wonderful that he made this our best tour of the trip. I could not have asked for a better guide as he went above and beyond to make our day so wonderful!! I will be booking more private days in the future because of Giorgio and this experience. Francois (Frank), our driver/guide, met us at time and place stated in the reservation. The Mercedes mini-van was very comfortable for the four of us. As he drove he provided appropriate commentary. We made all the promised stops--including getting us to Monaco in time for the changing of guard. He answered every question we had and was more than capable as a driver. We requested that he return us to the port a little earlier than the scheduled time and Frank managed that. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and tour.

We really liked doing the private tours, we liked it just being our group, and we could decide if we wanted to change anything, or stay longer somewhere. Sylvia was very pleasant and enjoyable. We got to see the changing of the guard, we had plenty of time to shop and eat, went into Monte Carlo and explored. We did not get to Eze, we had to be back on our cruise ship earlier than expected. But that was fine, we had a great day!

We were delayed due to the tender being delayed from the cruise ship. I was so worried about missing our excursion even though it was private. When I got there, our driver was waiting for us and was the NICEST guy ever! He asked us where we wanted to go, since it was our first time we had no idea. He took us to Nice, we went to a nice farmer's market there, then we went to Eze, where we visited a beautiful perfume shop, and then to Monaco and Montecarlo. Absolutely amazing! We got to see so, so much and enjoy! 100 recommended

The trip to Monaco was amazing and the views were breath taking at Monte Carlo. I would definitely recommend this trip for anybody travelling to France. Our driver Matilda was informative and helpful but the problem was that she was in a rush to end our trip reason being that she had other errands to attend to, and that was a bit disappointing for us.

Monaco was beautiful. Right off a picture postcard. Spotlessly clean, upscale, and impressive. On the circle drive in front of Monte Carlo saw ferraris, bentleys, lamborghinnis and rolls. Felt like an extra in an OO7 movie.

Once again, not disappointed by Viator! First and foremost, we ALWAYS had a great tour guide who not only was knowledgeable about the places we wanted to explore but also very cognizant about our time constraints as cruise vacationers with limited time on shore...
The vans that Viator tour provides are spacious and comfortable enough for our big 8 member family!
Despite the time constraints, we ALWAYS felt that we have been able to see all there is to enjoy in the places we chose to visit....

This tour is suited for a small group of 8 and luckily we were a family of 7 so it was our own private tour. Pierre was our guide and he was great! He was by far the best guide we had during our two week European vacation. He had an awesome sense of humor and was honest and helpful in recommending places and areas we should tour. Oh what an amazing excursion. Our guide was informative, fun and very attentive. She let us have more time at one place when we wanted to stay a bit longer. Don't miss out on Eze!!! The fortress that you could spend a week at. In fact my husband and I are planning a trip back to spend just there. Not recommended for the older folks though, lots of climbing elevated walkways and cobblestone steps. Cannes was pretty, but Eze made the tour.

Loved this private tour. We were able to see the preparations for the film festival in Cannes. Monaco was amazing - our guide got us there and in a good location to see the changing of the guards at the palace. She drove us one lap on the Formula One Grand Prix track - very fun. Would have loved to have time to actually gamble a bit in Monte Carlo but we were there before it opened at 2pm and you need a passport to get in which we didn't know ahead of time. I had never heard of Eze but it was a favorite - loved climbing through the narrow walkways and discovering interesting shops and restaurants, along with a beautiful chapel. These private tours are the way to go skip the cruise ship tours - allows for complete flexibility and individual attention. Loved our guide.
