- Caving is a moderately strenuous activity. Guests should be prepared to hike uphill for 30-40 minutes on a mountain trail, in addition to Scrambling, crawling, squeezing, and sliding through the cave. All participants must wear a helmet as well as a safety harness which has a maximum waist size of 46" (116 cm) and a maximum leg size of 33" (84 cm)
- Not recommended for pregnant women beyond their first trimester
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

Annie was a great tour guide, and we had a blast traveling through the cave system and trying all the challenges along the way. That cave has safety lines along the way so it's perfect for inexperienced cavers too. The only thing that would make this tour perfect would be if they provided a minibus to the cave entrance, but they do arrange taxis instead.

The experience was amazing! John, our cave guide, was super knowledgeable and friendly. Expect the activity to be quite physical, but kids and older folks on our tour were still able to finish the tour easily. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Banff.

The hike to the cave opening is intense but our guide, Emily, was great at stopping for quick breaks. Once we got to the top, she thoroughly explained how to put on all the gear (which you carry in a backpack provided). And then we were off. It was a fantastic tour and experience. Emily was awesome and so knowledgeable, plus she comes from a family who has been caving for decades, so we always felt safe and confident with her.

This was the highlight of my trip to Canmore/Banff. The caving tour was both challenging and incredibly fun. I had to push myself in ways I didn’t expect, and I loved that.
Our guide, Adam, was exceptional. His clear instructions, calm presence, and attention to safety made the whole experience feel adventurous but totally manageable. I felt supported every step (and crawl) of the way.
This was a new kind of experience for me, and I’m so glad I did it.

We were just the two of us with our guide Brant. He was just wonderful. Full of knowledge about caving and about the area and anything else we wanted to know. He showed so much patience when my wife was hesitant to go into the cave and the trip to the cave was awesome .

We learned lots about caves. John was awesome as a guide. Definitely recommend wearing warm clothing in the cave. We rented a go pro camera so we didn't have to bring our phones into the cave. Bring good hiking shoes.

This tour was amazing! Very knowledgeable guide and made us feel at ease. He paid attention to every single person in our group, making sure to assist and encourage them if required. The explorer tour was quite challenging with the mixture of crawling and climbing, but the experience is something else. The guide we had Sara was awesome, really knowledge, friendly, and she let us travel at our own pace. I highly recommend for people who are moderately active to take part

amazing life experience. You begin with an hour hike then gear up to head into the cave. It's not opened to the public so it's a completley unique experience. The cave is 750 000 years old! It was like getring to have a Tomb Raider experience. I highly recommend.
