Great captain and got us some early catches of albacore for dinner! They also fillet and clean the fish which not all sport fishing excursions do. Highly recommended.

This was a total scam and money pit! You not only pay the $495 but then $40 for bait we didnt even use , fishing license, no drinks like water provided, plus he tells you worst time to go fishing.
Boat is way to small and no where to sit. Ride for hours sitting on floor. Horrible!!!!! Viator should be reimbursing our money!!!!

As demonstrated by our Viator “Badge of Excellence”, we are one of the most highly rated fishing charters in Cabo so it is important to us that we do our best to ensure our clients are happy. We do have fishing seasons in Cabo and the conditions (water temp, color, current, wind, etc.) will drive what species might be available on that particular outing. While we are highly experienced and have a very high success rate, it is still fishing and some days can be difficult. As to the boat size, we have seating for 4 guests that does not involve sitting on the floor. The charter price is indicated on our listing as well as the additional costs for licenses and bait. We are as transparent as possible about these things on this platform. We pride ourselves on being professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun so that clients have a great experience and come back on board whenever they return to Cabo. This is the business we have built over many years and hundreds of repeat clients. While it is unfortunate you did not have your particular desired outcome, we have to take exception to being labeled as a “scam”. A scam would indicate some sort of intentional malfeasance on our part, none of which happened to you on your charter. We are sorry you did not have fun and we appreciate your taking the time to give us your feedback. Enjoy the rest of your vacation in Cabo.

Ishmael and Andy were awesome and stayed with the fishing u til everyone brought in a fish. They were fun and helpful locating the fish. Only thing wish had been different was to demonstrate before hand or tell us how to man the reel when fish is on. Thank you for a memorable trip, you guys rock!

The views while on our fishing trip were just breathtaking! We struggled a bit to catch anything trophy wise but at the end of our trip our captain took us around a little bit more only to help us hook an almost 7 foot Mako shark. Thanks so much to Captain Andy for a very memorable experience, mostly for my husband who is an avid fisherman. Thanks again!

The fishing trip was a mission success as far as catching marlin snd mahi mahi. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the bs scams that come with the excursion. No water was provided for us like the description mentions. The fishing license is non sense and so is the live bait but I guess all these scams are expected since it is a tourist trap after all. If you can get past all that then this will be a great experience.

Ismael was an amazing captain! He put us right where the fish were and we were catching them within minutes. He also was kind enough to create a video of our experience for us which he surprised us with at the end. Definitely recommend!!!!!

We had an AMAZING time with Ishmael and Miguel! We caught the legal limit of mahi mahi and got tuna as well! They made it a blast and made it accessible to our beginner level! They’re definitely experts at what they do! We heard other people on the dock saying the fished all day the day before with another company and got no mahi mahi, within our first half hour we had ours and hit the limit even in just our half day fishing trip! Ishmael definitely knows what he’s doing as a captain and a fisherman!

Few fish were being caught on any boat he had contacted. Even the men on the dock said none of the boats were catching fish. He searched & worked very hard for us to have fish!

My husband, brother in law, and 6 year old son had an incredible time fishing in Cabo with this private tour. They caught 8 fishes, and brought back 3. We had one of the restaurants at our resort cook us a four course mahi dinner and it was a delicious memorable experience. Highly recommended.

What an amazing trip! I cannot say enough great things about Capitán Ismael. He was tentative, professional, and easy going! We booked a full day trip and finished early with so many fish! Truly a wonderful experience! We can’t wait go come back.
**I would advise to exercise caution with the filleting crew. We felt like we did not receive all our fish back. Additionally, we payed for vacuum packing and the fish to be frozen. It was not frozen.**

So sorry, Ismael. This is SO late in coming, but as they say, "Better late than never.".
We had never been deep sea fishing, let alone booked a trip using an online company. I was a bit nervous. My fears were unfounded.
Suffice to say... I would STRONGLY recommend Kellyfish Cabo Sportsfishing.
Our party.. got a bit lost, so arrived a little late, but Ismael, our captain, was very gracious. That was my first impression of Captain Ismael. While on the excursion, Ismael and his deckhand were incredible!!! Clearly, they knew exactly what they were doing. Their professionalism with changing lures, depending what area we were in, was most impressive! MOST Impressive!!
It was a poor day for fishing for all the various fisherman. Yet, when we did get a strike, they were all over it; making sure everything was in place and ready to go and easy for us to just enjoy our experience fishing.
Finally, when our time slot had expired (6AM - 10AM), Ismael went the extra mile... more like two. He did everything he could to ensure our time was enjoyable, even if the fish weren't biting. We had a blast.
Funny enough... it wasn't until we were on our way back to the harbor, and BAM!!!! I watched the fishing reel take off. Before I even knew what was happening, Ismael had already jumped down from the wheel and was ready to help me out. Then... snap! That marlin snapped the line and that was that! It didn't even matter. We had so much fun that day. Next time we're down there and book a fishing excursion, the ONLY company I will even consider is Kellyfish Cabo Sportsfishing! Thanks again, Ismael. You are AMAZING!

I fished with Ismael on the Kellyfish for two days and had a blast! First thing Ismael asked was what I wanted to fish for. I told him I wanted to fish strictly for marlin. I've had captains try to convince me to fish for whatever species is currently on the bite. Not Ismael, he was happy to accommodate.
Fishing was a little slow, it's not peak marlin season but Ismael and Luis stayed positive and determined the whole time. We fished hard and finally got a nice striped marlin to bite! If you don't catch fish with Ismael and Luis it won't be for lack of effort, it's up to the fish to bite!
I've fished for billfish in Mexico, Costa Rica, Aruba, Hawaii and Florida. I'm not an expert, I just love to fish and always sneak a couple days fishing while on vacation, but I've done enough of these trips to say that you can book with Ismael with confidence. Ismael is a top shelf fisherman.
Next time I'm in Cabo I know who I'm fishing with! Gracias amigo!

This is the 2nd of two trips I booked with Kellyfish. I was booked with Kellyfish and when I arrived I learned that I was going with a totally different Company called Pacific Time fishing or something similar. His bookings will show available although he's not and then pass you off to one of his friends that doesn't have a charter that day. Ask as many questions as possible before you book with this company so that you don't show up and things are not as you expect. And no we didn't catch a fish this day or even get a bite.

This was the first of two back to back trips that I booked with Kellyfish. We caught five fish which made the day just ok. The second trip was not as expected or planned. I will just say ask as many question before you book and know before you book. Especially if you plan to book with Kellyfish and then later learn you will be with a total different company. Keep track of all your correspondence you may have via text or email because he truly does and you can compare if a situation comes up.

Ishmeal with KellyFish is a experienced Guide and boat Capitan. His wisdom of fishing the areas around Cabo stood out as we outperformed 30 other boats today. His love for fishing and being on the water is what he wants you to Feel and experience for yourself.
Communication from the day prior to the trip throughout the adventure was seamless. Furthermore the preparation of the catch, storage until departure again communicated well and seamless.
Lastly, he recommended taking a bit of todays catch directly to the restaurant Solomons Landing at the marina. Where they cooked a large Wahoo Filet 4 different ways for us. Splendid, really blown away actually.
Great value.
Expectations exceeded.
Made a new friend.
Will repeat and recommend.

Despite half our party not feeling well the morning of fishing, we had an absolute blast! Was such a need experience fishing for marlin and the captain really knows his stuff. If you’re considering a Cabo fishing expedition and want the best chance at catching big or small game fish, this is the boat for you! It even had an indoor cabin and bathroom on board which was a lifesaver for the half of us that weren’t feeling good all morning. We are coming back to Cabo in September and will book a trip with him again to fish for Mahi Mahi!
