Must do!

Samantha_S, May 2026
This was a phenomenal experience! I had a wonderful guide who made sure throughout the journey that my questions were answered, and I was comfortable. I met some people. Had a wonderful day of exploring a part of the city I never would have thought about otherwise. Hardly recommended for all ages.

Well worth it

It was a bit chaotic meeting our driver at the port but good communication throughout via what’s app. Tour overall was great. Lined the boat ride and empanadas!

Xlnt tour

Knowledgeable guide, we learned a lot of history and culture about the people making up the island communities

Tigris- A must do

A good tour to see the out skirts of Buenos Aries. Our tour guide (Pocunda) not sure of the spelling was incredible good and funny.

Viator does not care about their customers.

Viator cares only about profit. I booked a tango show in Buenos Aries. Viator cancelled it at the last minute with no explanation. I then booked a river cruise. The company did not pick up at our hotel. I called Viator and asked where I could meet the tour. They gave me an address . We were never picked up. Viator refuses to refund the trip even though we did exactly as they told us. By the way I booked the tango show for the same night that Viator cancelled through our hotel at the same venue.

A good option if you want to see the delta by boat.

Our guide Heraldo was lovely. He clearly knows his stuff and is passionate about sharing. Our driver was good as well. The tour itself is mainly for the boat ride up the delta. The rest is nothing special. It was a little odd that some of us were on a different boat and met our guide when he and the others disembarked a few minutes after us in Tigre. The snacks were ample and there was a no meat option. The fruit market was filled with touristy items and seemed geared toward Argentinian tourists.

Good way to see a different area

Great tour and Caroline was fantastic. It did feel a bit rushed on the tour back. Needed More time in Tigre

Wonderful trip

Our tour guide was Daniella. From the moment she met us at the Cruise Terminal she was excellent, one of the best. The tour was not quite what we expected. In the delta we thought it would be nature & wildlife. Yes we saw some but it was the stilt house lifestyle that we found interesting. Daniella kept us informed all the way. A 2 hour boat trip with refreshments then lunch of varied Empanadas. Followed by visit to local market & stops on way back to Buenos Aires. Highly recommend.

A great alternative to a day in Buenos Aires

jsbyrne, Feb 2020
We had a couple of days in Buenos Aires at the end of our cruise and decided to take this tour. We couldn't recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide was just marvellous and very knowledgeable as we first travelled through Buenos Aires city and on to the wharf where we travelled on a very comfortable boat along the River Plate and then into the fascinating Tigre Delta. At the end of our boat ride we were taken to a restaurant for a snack of delicious empanadas, and finally to the La Boca district for a wander around and a chance to do some shopping. All in all it was a most enjoyable and interesting day.

Delta life

Interesting tour of a different way of living on a delta in Argentina. Tour guide was Sandra who was knowledgeable and informative. Lunch of empanadas was delicious at a very nice restaurant.

Liked it!

Nola_C, Dec 2018
We liked this tour. We were picked up a few minutes early at our cruise port and taken to the boat. Had to wait a bit longer than we thought to actually get going on the boat but it was okay. The refreshment on the boat was strong coffee and a cookie. Then up on the top deck for the rest of the trip. Nice to see the coast of Buenos Aires from the water. Loved the cruise through the Tigre Delta. We stopped for empanadas in the town of Tigre then saw the cathedral before driving back to the city. Rather than being taken to the port in the large van, our guide arranged a taxi to pick us up at a stop to drop others at a hotel. He waited to be sure we got in the taxi and the driver knew where to take us. Worked for us! Yes, I would recommend this tour.

Excellent Unique Tour ! There are...

Excellent Unique Tour ! There are many options for this experience and I researched them all and was very pleased to sign up for this specific tour company- The unique difference of this tour is where it leaves from and the boat used. Most tours take you directly to Tigre and you board a small wooden boat from there and make a circle tour of the delta. This tour takes off from Buenos Aires and you get a 30 minute wonderful ride along the coast before you reach the delta. This provides a great view of the city that is not appreciated by other tour options. The boat itself as mentioned in the website is a significant upgrade from the ones that leave from Tigre directly. Cushioned seats, modern and sleek with a nice upstairs open viewing area- some boats I saw did not offer an outside viewing platform. We were offered free snacks and drinks for the morning tour. Afterward we had a land tour of the city and an excellent guided drive back to Buenos Aires. Definitely book this specific tour for a really interesting view of the delta region of Buenos Aires - it is a fascinating experience -
