If you have abseiled before, you may be disappointed. Only had one instructor and needed an additional. One overseas couple too focussed on taking posing photos and safety was compromised. Also made things very slow.

Such a thrill. Guide was committed to explaining things clearly, making good use of the time, keeping you safe, and making sure you have fun. Do have to climb a monumental set of stairs each time you want to head back down, so can be challenging if very hot out.

There were 15 of us in the group and we only had one opportunity to have an abseil down the cliff. For $75.00, I think that is a bit expensive.
Also, I think their technique of having two people at the top, and no guide at the bottom is a safety issue and doesn’t support inexperience C limbers.

Great to be able to have the abseil experience with a nice view. Abseiling wasn’t very hard but it could be better with a staff at the bottom to help. Other than that, it was good.

Mani was very friendly and patient with us abseiling and went out of her way letting us take pictures at the top of the cliff face before descending using her phone. The activity was well organised and we always felt safe. We thououghly enjoyed this and would recommend it to others.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience, it is definitely one to add to the bucket list for those who haven’t done it yet. Our instructor Sam was very helpful and made us feel safe, even though we were going backwards off a cliff. My boyfriend and I didn’t realise we were allowed our phones at the top of the abseil, so Sam offered to take photos on her personal device and send them through to us later. It meant a lot for us to have these memories captured. I would 100% recommend Riverlife to anyone and can’t wait to book more activities through them. All of the staff were very welcoming and fun to be around.

Had fantastic time! The instructor was very informative and friendly (and patient) my only critisism is that group was a bit big, so there is alot of standing around, but other than that, fantastic!

It was my first time abseiling, so I didn't know what to expect. I liked it because it was different, and a bit scary, but I'd say it was a great experience. The instructor was great, very funny and explained the process very thoroughly so there were no confusions. The lady at the desk was also very nice and descriptive. I highly recommend it, especially for a first timer like me!

Brisbane... the best river area in the country. Something for everyone. Lots to see and do, park areas, cafes, bars, rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, swimming pools for kids and adults, markets and a surprise guest at a concert by the river... John Farhnam. Abseiling was fun with beautiful views, close to the city, botanic gardens and Roma Parklands. Roma Parklands are very pretty a must see. City Hall clock tower worth a visit too. Thanks Brisie we had a great couple of days.

I didn't know it was on the bucket list until I did it! It really was a great experience! Guide was very good, very thorough, very patient. I always felt safe. That first step really is the scariest but after that it's smooth sailing! :D
