Our guide was knowledgeable; however, he was frequently distracted by his phone while giving us our tour. The communication regarding the cost of entrance tickets to some of the sites could have been clearer. All in all, we are glad we visited Ephesus.

Hello,
The entrance fees given you very clearly by me it said 500 liras house of virgin mary and 40 euros for ephesus. You said you understood it 40 liras and we said you can pay by cash or credit card. And you choose cash payment at the end of the tour how come we dont know you said you dont have cash. Even this situation we gave you the option to pay at the hotel and its sorted out very quickly. I was your tour guide and in this page i have more than 100 reviews and no body is telling that i focused on mobile phone. And the phone was on silent mode as we do always. Probably this is the excuse of giving a 3 star review because of you missunderstand the entrance fees.

Was a long ride, but comfortable. Tour was flexible, so because of the heat we opted for lunch after the Ephesus tour. Utku was a great guide, highly recommend.

Utku was a fabulous tour guide. He gave us great info and made Ephesus fully come alive before us. He was patient and kind and a delight! And the driver form bodrum and the car was super comfortable and made the journey easy and a breeze. 10/10
If I were doing the tour again, I think I'd spend the day at Ephesus and skip the church and temple of Artemis. They were more underwhelming and not worth the admission cost imo, whereas Ephesus was worth every penny and more.

What an awesome tour!! Our tour guide was Bilal and the driver was Bekir. This was a full day tour and both guys were amazing hosts. Bilal was very knowledgeable about all the rich history & culture of Bodrum and provided great detail about all the historical sites we had visited. For lunch, Bilal and Bekir took us to a local place not too far from the Temple of Artemis and the food was amazing. We also got to visit a place where Turkish rugs were made and how silk was drawn. My family ended up buying 2 beautiful rugs.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bodrum. You will not be disappointed!!!

We had a wonderful day with Canan at Ephesus tour. The hotel pick up from Bodrum hotel was timely and efficient, the driver was very polite.
The Ephesus tour itself is absolutely amazing, Canan is incredibly knowledgeable and very gentle and friendly person. We really enjoyed seeing the Ephesus with her and appreciate her hospitality.

Our driver Yavous (sp) was courteous and professional and punctual. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area from Bodrum to Ephesus.
Also, his English was superb!
Our guide, Ibrahim met us in Ephesus. He gave us an excellent tour with a wealth of information. I have seen many pictures of Ephesus but, being in the presence of this ancient city is quite literally awesome! I highly recommend hiring a private local guide like Ibrahim through Viator. It is the best way to understand the history and get a unique perspective from a highly educated expert. These licensed guides have a 4 year degree in all facets of history, language, geography, religion etc...
Ibrahim also brought his lighthearted, humorous personality to our experience.
After the tour we visited a Turkish carpet weaving school. We were fascinated by their display of how silk is extracted from the silkworm cocoons. We had a wonderful time! We even got to meet the famous cat Garfield!
