Amazing day out away from the crowds

A last minute cruise schedule change lead us to the best out day ever. Totally indulgent with a boat to ourselves and 100% worth it. This private excursion was a perfect day of peace and tranquility in the most beautiful of places. We specifically said that we didn't mind where we stopped but didn't want to be in crowds and the crew were fabulous at giving us what felt like our own ocean every time. Brilliant lunch provided. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Disappointed in boat condition

To be honest I was worried the price for the excursion was too good to be true given how cheap the boat was for a private tour ($560 for 6 hours), but the experience was not great. We normally charter catamarans but our cruise had been diverted due to Israeli conflict and so the bigger boats had all been booked up in advance. The pre-communication from the operator was fantastic which was a good sign with clear directions on how to find the boat. However, when we got to the boat we had a crew of 2 guys who did not speak to us at all (or even check our names to make sure we actually rented the boat) and also weren't the friendliest (no smile, wave or hello in any language). We got on and quickly realized the wine we pre-ordered (white and rose) was sitting out in the heat (no ice). The boat was not in good shape (to put it mildly). There were rust shards all over the front where our feet were supposed to sit on the floor and the cushions were covered in bath towels which were stained everywhere with (we think) bird droppings. It was the same model of boat depicted in the pictures but in much worse condition. We went to our first stop and asked to go back due to the condition of the boat and also how uncomfortable we were with the fact that no one (from the dock to the boat) was attempting to communicate with us at all other than texts I was receiving from the manager on whatsapp. They were really helpful and tendered us to a hotel for a resort day after we hopped off early because I think they realized we hadn't had a great time which we appreciated. If you simply want a vessel to take you to swimming spots it's probably fine. But if you have people in your group who prefer not to get in the water and prefer sun bathing/enjoying the boat/laying out then I would NOT recommend this boat experience and would recommend booking a larger boat.

Hello Travis, Since I was not on tour, I sent you a message after the tour, but you did not reply to my message. If you had told me via message that you did not like the tour, I would have given you a refund. Yes, our boat offers the cheapest private boat rental in the system. However, if you had told me, I could have found a much more luxurious boat for you. Catamaran or Motoryacht. Of course different price. Also, October is the end of the season for Bodrum. All boats are taken into maintenance at the end of October. All boats return to the sea at the beginning of the season, well-maintained and new. So, it is normal for our boat to look a little worn out depending on the season. Guests can bring all their drinks onto our boat. Also lunch and fresh fruit included in the price. Lunch : Fish, chicken, salad, pasta. I hope the rest of your holiday went well. Have a nice holiday, Best regards

Nice day to relax

Nice trip. The crew did not speak much English so we did not talk much to the crew. The stops were nice but not many fish. If you are looking for great snorkeling this would not be the trip. It was nice to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We had the fish for lunch which was very good.

Being out on the water was great, water was crystal clear at the places we stopped, food was great but they charged us 5 euros for a can of soda and 10 euros for a can of beer, neither of the two crewmen spoke any English or communicated at all with us other than to ask if we wanted fish or chicken for lunch, we jumped in the water at two stops but there was no floaties or snorkeling equipment as advertised, no cave visit as advertised, no safety information relayed, boat was a bit dingy, not as nice as some of the others we saw from the same tour company, we did see dolphins which we didnt expect, i recommend a boat trip in Bodran but maybe with a different boat and crew

Hello Tara, Our guests can bring all their drinks with them. Also the boat staff speaks English. But since this is a private tour and we think that the guests want to have a special day, we do not contact our guests unless they want to. Sometimes the wind is stronger at sea. In such cases, unfortunately, we may make changes to the program. That's why you didn't go to the cave on your tour. Of course for your safety. I hope the rest of your holiday went well. Great Captain! The lunch was fantastic! Took us to remote areas with not a lot of people. The water was absolutely beautiful! The snorkeling gear does need to be replaced, but we had a great time! Would recommend this tour!
