What To Expect

Begin with pickup at your accommodations in Lake Bled, then travel to the Bohinj Valley, a broad basin surrounded by rugged peaks and glacier-carved valleys. At the entrance to a smaller side canyon, get suited up with canyoning gear: don a wetsuit, harness, and safety equipment as the guide briefs you on canyoning basics.

Start with a short hike through the forest, then climb higher on the rocky canyon walls, using a harness and rock climbing rope for protection. You’ll come across fresh mountain springs that are perfect for swimming and cooling off, then jump down waterfalls into deep water. Learn to rappel, and challenge yourself to step off the edge and lower to the ground.

After completing your trip through the canyon, dry off, change, and make the return trip to Lake Bled, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

I reccomend this experience to anyone. It was extremely special. The guides were fun, considerate, and experienced. They knew when to encourage you to go for it and when to take rest. I did this on my own and am extremely grateful I had such an inviting group with such amazing guides. I wish all the best to Sašo, Barbara, Ažbe, Rebeka, Žiga, Jernej. Bled Canyoning

Our guide Jakar (hope i spelt this correct) was brilliant, great fun absailing climbing through the canyon and multipme big jumps, overall 10/10 experience if we are ever back in Bled we will 100% do it again.

Our canyoning tours are designed to encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves to try something new and exciting. Sure, the canyoning location is the same as many others use, but we take it a step further, and have the guests do all the stuff themselves (e.g. abseiling, jumps). It takes more time and preparation, but we believe that everyone should experience the canyon for what it really is - a place of adventure, excitement, and pure water adrenaline fun! This was probably my most favorite activity/tour I did on any of my trips! The guide was very knowledgeable and focused a lot on safety, but not to the point that it interfered with having fun. The hike was beautiful, the water was cold and refreshing, the reveling was super fun and exciting, and the canyons were gorgeous. If you have the chance, DO THIS!!!
