I had a great time on this tour with Aleksandra! I traveled solo for my first time, and this trip was perfect. I was able to see SO much in one day, without the stresses of driving or getting around. Alex was so insightful, gave us so many great tourist tips, and was just overall a great person to talk with all day. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit and maximize what they are seeing!

Amazing tour! Incredible places, comfy transport, a great guide, and the zipline was a perfect pick.
The tour itself is great! But Viator is not taking responsibility for when the tour operator gave the wrong location meet point and time, causing me to reschedule to another day. Unfortunately doing that caused a chain reaction of needing to reschedule other tours which Viator is not allowing due to the 24 hour policy. It was the operator's error, not the customer, and yet the customer is paying the price.
We saw some of the most beautiful sights of nature!! From the waterfall to the Vedic pass and the Julian alps.
Tour starts early to be able to spend adequate time at each destination. The Julian alps and Soca valley are amazingly picturesque and present an altogether different view of this lovely country
Our day with Metka was wonderful with a well organised and fun day looking at the natural beauty in Slovenia.
As well as the Soca valley, there were stops that we would not have known about or visited without the activity.
We added the zipline in Bovec which was also good fun.
Would highly recommend.
Really good trip. Peter was a fantastic guide. Informative inclusive and happy to share his knowledge. He made the trip so much fun while still looking after us all. The waterfalls & Gorge were amazing . Such beautiful scenery even on a rainy day. Gorgeous ice cream in Boca. A fantastic day out
This was one of the most beautiful days I have ever had. It was great being in a small group and getting to see all the stops efficiently but also influence parts of what we wanted the day to be together. It's definitely a lot of driving and the hiking is not challenging at the first waterfall, the rest is more just walking around the beauty. You can bring layers/ extras and leave stuff in the car at each stop safely if you want. The tour said there were swim chances but none of us got in deeper than ankle level; there wasn't a lot of time and some of the stops are chilly so I didn't want to be the only one wet part of the day- it also would have felt rushed. I'm so glad we got to all the stops instead. The guide was knowledgeable and passionate, teaching us about these spots and her country with pride.
Great day trip, awesome views. Our guide knew lots about Slovenia and could answer any questions. We had a small group and got to see the best spots. Had the chance to swim in the gorge which was great and had lunch in Bovec
This tour was so much fun! With a group of 8 people (which is the maximum amount) we went to see so many beautiful views and even saw a bit of Italy. Our guide had many interesting things to say during the ride and we got to do carpool karaoke as well. Met the best people, had the best swim & little hikes and took so many pictures my storage was full. 🫶
We attended the tour with our very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Matija. He was flexible with the itinerary, and also entertaining. It’s a long day, so bring snacks! However, we loved seeing all the different sights, it’s a great mix of activities. We would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Slovenia. Thankyou Matija!!
Absolutely incredible experience! This day trip was easily one of the highlights of my time in Slovenia. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish, with incredible mountain views and beautiful stops along the way. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day so enjoyable. It was such a memorable way to experience the beauty of the Slovenian Alps!
I'm glad we did this trip even though it was showery that day - unfortunately even in August, the weather isn't reliable! The mountains were mostly covered in clouds so we didn't get the best views, but it was still scenic. I was worried the Vrsic Pass might be scary but it was fine - wide roads and no steep drops!
The trip is run by Altitude Activities. The stops are well-timed so you don't feel you are spending as long in the bus as you actually. They were all fairly quick stops - 30-40 mins max apart from the lunch break, but that's probably a necessity to get round the route and it was a good itinerary. We had 80 mins in Bovec for lunch. When you sign up, you get asked if you want to add on rafting or ziplining in Bovec, and nobody in our group doing those so we didn't need to wait the 3 hours there fortunately - there's not much to do there. There's a coffee break after the waterfall and you can get cakes at the cafe if you want to have breakfast there. It'd have been nice to have had a restaurant recommendation in Bovec that had indoor seating rather than wandering around and choosing somewhere fairly randomly.
Our guide was new to the job that summer, was very nice and perhaps most importantly felt like a safe and sensible driver. The guiding was fairly 'light' - if you hired a car and followed a similar route and e.g. used the notes in the Rick Steves guidebook, I don't think you would miss out. I would say that the main reason to take the trip is to not have to hire a car and drive yourself. I would do your best to go on a non-cloudy day, but that might be easier said than done booking in advance!
Just got back from the Triglav National Park trip with the lovely Peter. He was punctual and professional, an exceptional driver, shared lots of interesting facts about the places we visited, and helped make the day really special! It's hard to believe any other trip in Slovenia can trump the magical places we got to experience today...so thank you to Peter and the team. Highly recommended!
What an amazing trip to see the beauty of Slovenia
Aljaz Was an incredible host , teaching us the history and kept us well informed as well as taking us to extra places , this trip was the highlight of mine and my partners holiday and we are so glad we booked this last minute
This itinerary is brilliant BUT the organisation of this company is not. We were told to be ready at 6:55 but were not picked up until one hour later because the driver told us she'd been given the wrong pick up notes. We then stopped in Bled for a driver change.
Due to the late pick ups in the morning, this meant we were late for our rafting activity and made it just as they were leaving. The company had not properly informed the rafting people we were coming and tried to charge us twice. We had no time for lunch as, if you choose to do the rafting or zip line, this takes place during the time designated for lunch so we had no lunch and very very hungry by the end of the day!
At Lake Jasna, we had another driver change. This driver took us to Bled where they stopped for another half an hour. The tour is advertised as finishing around 6:30pm but we were in Bled waiting for another driver at close to 9pm. The driver got in and told us they had been sorting the trips for the next day in the office. We then told her it's very late and we hadn't had lunch to which she replied well, I'm ok I got a sandwich this afternoon (she wasn't with us in the afternoon, it was the previous driver).
When we were finally dropped off, a member of this company went on to the Instagram account to complain about the guests they had had that day.
When conversing with the member of the company about the lack of lunch and the late timings, we were very polite and respectful but did offer it as feedback for future tours. I feel highly disappointed that this was then portrayed as something completely different on social media channels as the staff were very accepting and apologetic to our faces.
The itinerary of this tour is great but the service was an extreme let down.
I did the Triglav National Park and Soča Valley tour and it was absolutely fantastic! It was a small group in a small vehicle, which made the experience feel much more personal and allowed us to get to so many different spots throughout the day.
There was such a great variety of stops — waterfalls, a lake for swimming, a gorge, wetlands, incredible mountain views, and so much more. The tour is also flexible, so you can add activities like zip-lining or white-water rafting if you’re looking for a little more adventure.
One of the best parts is being able to see so much of the park without having to worry about driving or navigating. Alex is incredibly familiar with the area and was so knowledgeable about the park’s history, culture, legends and myths. She brought every place we visited to life with her stories and insights.
Alex was amazing, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Her knowledge, stories and genuine passion for the outdoors made an already beautiful day absolutely spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our driver-cum-guide, Alex, was absolutely superb! She is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring, friendly, and most importantly, an excellent driver. I learned so much about Slovenia and many other interesting things that I had never heard before through Alex’s sharing throughout the trip.
The itinerary was very well planned, and we never felt rushed at all. The company staff were also friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Una, who kindly transferred us back to Ljubljana.
This is definitely worth the money, especially if you don’t have a car to drive around Slovenia. You get to see so many beautiful places and different scenery that would be difficult to reach by public transport.
100/100 — definitely a must-book activity if you want to explore Slovenia!
This was a great tour and our guide Tomaz was so friendly and informative. Definitely recommend! The national park was stunning.
We had a great day with our tour guide Nace who was knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time. Nace adapted the day to suit the needs of our group and he has great taste in music! Would highly recommend this trip to see many beautiful sights Slovenia has to offer.

I booked this experience as a solo traveler after seeing someone else rave about it on social media. And it was one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide Milan was amazing. He was so knowledgable about the area and went out of his way to accommodate the group. Since I did not rent a car during my trip, this was a great way to see some of Slovenia's beautiful sights. It was completely worth it. And I also lucked out to have a great group of travelers with me who made the day even more enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this trip especially if you are traveling solo and without a car.

I had the best time with Ureska and the people I spent the day with. Urska is sweet and made us feel right at home with her animated way of explaining things and how we had our little picnic in the woods and sharing stories. Forever thankful for the experience.

One word - Amazing.
I didnt believe we could cover so many places inside of Triglav National Park in one day.
Davide was our guide and he showed us every place of the itinerary.
Our group didnt have anyone doing Zipline/Rafting, so that worked in our favour, meaning we could spread out the day better.
For me personally, Lago Jasna and the Emerald spring were the highlights, picturesque Green background.
And staying in Bled meant we were able to achieve all this without rushing through.
Note: The first waterfall stop has a short hike. Around 10 to 15 minutes depending on your ability, so consider that.

Great day experiencing the country. Our guide Ushka/mother hen was a wealth of knowledge. It was a long day but worth it. The only suggestion would be to maybe spend more time at the stop in Italy over soca valley. Would recommend!

We had Matija as our guide and he had shared we were his 5th tour! He was very knowledgeable and nice. Our time was filled with great activities outside of the itinerary while we were waiting for our tour mate. The sights of this tour is amazing. Highly recommend if you are travelling without a car to book this tour to see slovenia! We got pick up and drop off at our hotel door.

Really wonderful tour! The views were beautiful. I especially enjoyed being able to go behind the first waterfall. Our tour guide, Urska, was incredibly kind and personable. I loved her stories on the myths of each of the places that we went to!
