It is fabulous! Driver, John and tour guide, Louis, with his vast knowledge and entertaining presentation, gave us a wonderful introduction to Belfast.
Julie_D, Apr 2026
We had to wait over 40 minutes as the bus was late, had to take a tuk to the castle as the bus didn’t go there and there was over a two hour wait for the tram , and tuk back so it was an additional cost of 45 euros

good value, 19 sites to see, really liked the flexibility. up topside windy day ended up claiming my SOX hat. Blew it right off

We loved the HoHo in Belfast, it was a perfect chance to see the city and see what we wanted to see at our leisure.
Charity_P, Oct 2025
Disappointed with this experience. The driver only stopped 4 or 5 times throughout the entire trip. He didn't share very much information about the stops, and continually asked for tips.
Fiona_K, Sep 2025
Lovely experience, friendly drivers.they know the history very well.make jokes.makw you feel welcome.
TAMMY_L, Sep 2025
We really enjoyed this. We took the full tour which was about 70 mins so we could decide what we wanted to do first. A great way to see all the sights. Recommend the 2 day pass.

Noel was a great guide and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to others. Best way to see alot in a short amount of time.

Start early. Buses stopped at 6:00pm. Way too soon to end when there are many stops to get off and spend time. Doesn’t get dark until 10p in July….

Great experience. It saved us quite a bit in cab fare. I was surprised to hear the tour guide was onboard.
Ronald_S, Jun 2025
The buses were crowded with people standing in the aisles which made it difficult to see the sites or take photos. We ended up getting off earlier than we'd liked in hopes that the next bus would be better. It wasn't.
Having taken the HopOn/HopOff buses in Dublin on 3 occasions, we were surprised at how different the experience was in Belfast.

Hello,
At this time of year, we have over 10 buses in operation—more than any other tour bus company in Belfast.
We also operate a shared service with Belfast City Sightseeing, which means your ticket allows you to use both their buses and ours. This results in a more frequent and flexible service, helping you spend less time waiting and more time exploring!
Mary_O, May 2025
Good tour but it is quite short. If you stay on the bus, you complete the circuit in about 90 minutes. We did the 2 day tour and hit the jackpot on the first day because the driver stopped at Peace Wall and gave us a chance to sign it!
Colin_F, Apr 2025
Tour was good, the downside was we went to Crumlin Road Gaol (walked there) thought we would get City Tours bus back as was raining, 3 sightseeing buses came by before ours turned up & was about 45 min wait!

A must do to learn the complex history of Belfast. We had Emma as our first guide and she was fantastic. Having been born in Belfast at the start of the most recent period of conflict, she brings in the perspective of someone who was a child during the conflict. Dylan was also a friendly and fantastic driver maneuvering through Belfast traffic! Later we had Brian as our guide and with his numerous years as a tour guide here (we had him when we visited in 2017!), he brings yet another perspective to the tour! Every guide brings a little something different! Stop #1 is right alongside Belfast City Hall. Very easy to find! Make sure you go in City Hall after your Hop On Hop Off to explore the exhibits inside!

The experience differed on each bus, we had a live interactive guide on bus one which was great. Then a recording on the buses after. We were told by a fellow traveler , after two bus a drove by the stop, that we had to wave a brochure! That was not acceptable, we waited over forty minutes! Everything was clean but not clear on the instructions.

Brilliant commentary. Really enjoyed the tour and would recommend. Stops were well located and buses were regular 👌
Susan_H, Oct 2024
The Titanic experience was very good. The commentary on route was informative and amusing. We both enjoyed using hop on hop off tour for 2 day. Thank you.
Fiona_B, Oct 2024
Don the driver was funny, great banter and very knowledgeable, stayed for the whole tour and seen everything we wanted to would highly recommend

The commentary from the guides . The drivers were amazing . The Titanic museum was fantastic . The Peace walls were emotional
Jacquelyn_S, Jun 2024
It was busy and crowded at times, the tour guides were funny while giving historical tips, what else could one ask for?
Michele_H, May 2024
The Belfast Hop on Hop Off tour bus was great! We had taken 2 tours earlier in the day and so we just used this as to see the sights we missed earlier. We got off a few times to see a couple distilleries, as well ass a couple other things. It was great to see everything and to use for transportation to get from one sight to another. The stops were explained in advance and interesting.
Geoff_P, May 2024
Busses were to run every 25 to 30 minutes, however, after standing at a pick up location for almost 50 minutes on one of the coldest, wettest, and windiest days in Belfast, we decided to walk back to our hotel 3 miles away.
Diane_D, May 2024
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny!!! Would highly recommend anyone who wants an overall view of this city to do the hop on hop off
Tom_a, May 2024
Our driver and guide Gerard was amazing. He provided such a beautiful narrative of the history of Belfast though his own experiences..he told it from both sides of the story.
Christine_M, May 2024
Depending on the bus you're on you either get a recording or the driver talking. We found the driver gave more info. Its worth getting off near the peace wall to look at the murals and gate on foot.
ROBERT_E, May 2024
company had more tickets sold than buses available to handle the crowds........very disappointing to stand or miss a bus.
Susan_C, May 2024
Saw everything we wanted with great detail and stories. And lucky to have wonderful weather. A great experience.
Johnie_W, Apr 2024
What a nice tour and a beautiful city, best way to view the city and all the different areas.
We parked at the Titanic open lots and walked to the city center worked out great for us!
Rebecca_B, Mar 2024
Seeing the Titanic Museum was very informative
Bus drivers very entertaining and friendly. Our driver stopped at the murals allowed us off to take photos and sign. Thank you driver. He also had some great stories to tell about the history of Belfast.
Craig_L, Mar 2024
Great little tour. We had other bookings and had only time to hop and off twice. Second time the driver and tour guide was very funny and informative. Worth doing to see the city. Weather was poor when we went (wet and cold) so wrap up and avoid the top deck if it's really bad.
