An OK day out of Beirut.

Overall, our party felt that it was only OK, for such a long drive. We have to say however that the Baatara Waterfalls were really worth it. You must take the time to go down next to the gorge into which the water falls to appreciate the beauty. As for the Akoura lake, we were not able to go very high because of snow on the road, therefore we probably missed out on the view of the many artificial lakes. The time spent in Batroun was mainly to have lunch. We went to the Phoenician wall and walked a few minutes. Our driver was very friendly. However, based on the tour description and inclusions listed, we were under the impression that a professional guide was included. The driver did not provide much information along the way, or while walking across a historical town such as Batroun. He mainly drove us to the locations.

Day trip to Belou3 Bal3a and Akoura Mts

Beautiful day trip to Tanourine and the amazing Belou3 bal3a. The ride to Akoura mountains was so refreshing and absolutely breathtaking. The scenery was out of this world. Our tour guide Ahmed was so adorable and attentive and was very informative. He even recommended an amazing lunch place in Byblos. Overall a must tour if you are visiting lebanon.
