Really disappointed in this tour we had booked as a family group of 10! We were forced to shove into a tiny van that was made for 12 people and there was a total of 15 people worth the drivers. The “tour guide” didn’t know where he was going when driving to the aaqoura lakes. We wasted an hour driving around asking people for directions. When we got to the waterfall part of the tour, they failed to inform us that it is almost impossible to climb down to the waterfall. On top of that the waterfall wasn’t even there because there was a drought at that time that they had also failed to let us know after paying. Beautiful places to see but so not worth the money we paid for and the trouble we went through.

Hello 1st of all, before leaving us a review think about how everyone waited for you, for 30 minutes, and i was there myself, and told you if your group is not ready in the next 5 minutes we have to leave to pick up other people up, everyone was calling and blaming us that we were late to pick them up and it was all your fault.
2nd of all, you were not cramped into a tiny bus, why are you lying about this?
3rd of all, its listed on the product that There's little or no water at Baatara waterfall (JUNE-OCTOBER)...
Please go back to the product and check the itinerary again, i don't know why some of you don't read before making a booking..

How is this our problem that you were unable to walk down, if you were not physically fit.
After the tour, you then reported us for not taking you on the tour and requested for a full refund which i happily declined, because you did go on the tour, and i have all the proof.

The trip is worth it! Beautiful scenery. We were amazed by the views at the lakes. Also the waterfall area was really pretty eventhough the waterfall itself was kinda small (in june). Batroun is a nice place to visit.
Our driver was Mahdi from zingy, he did a really good job!

I do not recommend this excursion. The sites visited are interesting and the driver smiling but there was no guide when he was supposed to have one. I simply had a taxi driver drop me off from one point to another. He didn't know the program that I had to provide him myself, he didn't know the way (he got it wrong several times while staring at his GPS), he was driving very dangerously (much too fast) and of course as he was not a guide and therefore incompetent in the field, I did not have the slightest explanation.
Considering the price paid for this excursion which is excessive, having a simple taxi driver to drive me, I could have found it myself on the spot and for much less. If you add to this that the driver was constantly smoking (he even stopped to buy a pack of cigarettes), that he turned the music on loud or that he was talking on the phone while driving, I strongly advise against this tour operator because the organization is deplorable and misleading. It is neither serious nor professional.

We could not visit Aaquora Lakes as the snow on the ground was still quite thick. The guide was not very proficient in English but the entire trip did not need much / any explanation.

These are some of the most hidden and unknown places of the country (except Batroun of course, which is anyway a very delightful ending to the trip after visiting such remote areas). You won´t find many others that will organize tours over there. The views are amazing and especially the waterfall in impressively deep and large and can be also circled around from a small natural bridge to have a full view around. Breathtaking. Robert was very good to explain every detail.

that trip should not be posted here as an option in that time of the year. because each destination of the tour was closed as a result of the accumulated ice and bad weather, akoura lakes were frozen and the road was closed, baatara waterfalls entrance was closed too. in a nutshell, I paid for 6 hours ride from and to the destinations in a car; i paid in advance for nothing.

Car was comfy and Robin is extra professional driver and knowing guide.
As I have tour in period of semi-suspense of tourism I was alone and can change destinations and make additions for the tour on my needs. And I can order another tours not listed in Viator.
I highly recommend Zingyride operator for all who want tours in Lebanon.
