Robin was an excellent driver. He was waiting for me at arrivals and drove me to my hotel quickly and got me there safe. On the way, he gave me many tips as it was my first time visiting Lebanon. He gave me info on everything from the types/price of SIM cards used, how to take a shared taxi, where to find a bus to visit cities to the North or East/South, where to go to party, which atm machine to use, what applications to use, etc. Highly recommend.

We waited for the driver for 15 minutes. We looked everywhere many times. He said he was there but he wasn't. The car was very, very old and dirty. The windshield of the car was broken, there was dust and dirt everywhere. I really don't recommend it to anyone.

Despite my flight being delayed more than 30 minutes, I was pleased to leave the exit hall to see a driver with a sign that had my name on it (and hence avoiding the stress and expense of getting to my hotel. The driver, Robin, was exceptionally friendly and even provided me with some helpful tips and advice for my first day in Lebanon.

As a solo woman traveler I really need to feel safe . My driver Robin was there at the airport late at night waiting for me when my flight arrived. I was worried because I spent extra time at the airport going through customs and getting covid tested. But he was there and I instantly felt secure.
