Fabien took wonderful care of my wife and I during our trip to Burgundy. He arranged every detail perfectly and was a wonderful guide / source of information during the tour. His communication was great leading up to the day of the tour as well. We would recommend Fabien and the company to all of our friends and family. You will not be disappointed!

Firstly we have had past experience with the Bordeaux region. Resulting in a good grasp from a French wine region. However, Burgundy was a different beast. When seeking our first visit to this region, we wanted a more advanced package that was intriguing, educational and memorable. As this region can be overwhelming vs Bordeaux. What we got to experience for the full day was excellent. Fabien took us through the Côte d’Or. Sharing his vast regional knowledge throughout. Exploring the golden triangle and what makes Burgundy so special and different from Bordeaux. We visited three family estate wineries with completely differently philosophies. Providing a diverse snapshot of winemaking techniques. Along with our Premier Grand Cru and Grand Cru tasting, we had a lunch comprised of regional delicacies. What stood out for us was the educational aspect. We went in with little knowledge and have left with enlightenment and valuable insights. This package might not fit everyone’s budget but there are some things you can’t learn just by reading. Experiences are everything in this area. We want to personally thank Fabien for his warm, friendly and savvy approach. This day will be remembered for a very long time. Now, when I pick up a bottle of Burgundy and read the label, I’ll have an instant little smile. J and K

Luxury Tour with Fabien

The wine tour was a great start to our time in Beaune. Fabien picked us up at our hotel. Drove us through the vineyards and explained all about the Bourgogne region. A stop on a hill with a beautiful view of the vineyards below, he educated us on the history, the different types of terroir, the classification of the the wines and vineyards the climate etc. Exactly what we were looking for in our trip. Three stops to taste with each have it’s own experience. From small private producer to larger. Every place we were met with enthusiasm and great hospitality. Stops were Chateau de Charodon, Chateau de Marsannay (great lunch put on my Fabien) and Domaine Michel Magnien. All have their distinct style all great wines . Plenty of opportunities to taste Grand Cru. But it’s not all about the Grand Cru, region and 1er Cru are all well crafted wines. Fabien helped us shipping our wine home, followed up to help us with the logistics of switching between train stations in Paris and helped with shipping of other wines back home. Fabian is well educated in the wine making process, the vineyards and the makers. Even included a stop by Romanee Conti vineyard. Highly recommend Fabien for your wine tour through Bourgogne.
