Matilda picked us up and gave history on the drive to the wineries. It was educational as well as delicious. I really appreciated her detail to every part of each region and displays to give us a visual. It was initially overwhelming like I was back in school but a very fun and laid back experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This experience it's self was fun. Turned out to be very expensive and not worth it. I will never use viator again after being a long time customer. Viator tells me that I had to pay in British pound even though I live in United States and never would book it that way. Again I have used them many times in past and haven't had that problem. After several calls to explain they would not issue a refund and this trip already expensive ended up being 230 US dollars more then expected. I am completely done with Viator.

Great day exploring the villages around the area. Albane was very knowledgeable and took the extra time in explaining all the regions .Enjoyed the wine tastings and Chacuterie board for Lunch.

We waited in the rain at the meeting point for over 10 minutes before spotting a woman holding a sign with our names. She was our guide but she stood across the meeting point location and did not come across to check if we were there for the wine tour. It will be best if the tour reached out to the day before via text to touch base with each tourist to confirm the details so hiccups like this will be avoided in future excursions.
Our guide, Marie, is wonderful. She cared about our comfort and spent time to educate us about the importance of terroir with respect to French wines.
We had expected lunch to be served but only to learn the charcuterie board that was served was the lunch. First time attending a wine tour in Beaune, but expectation is different than reality. It will be good if Viator identified what lunch will be served on the tour to avoid confusion.

Alban, our guide, was amazing. Her breadth of knowledge of the area made this tour totally worthwhile. I liked the first stop at Chanzy and the charcuterie lunch was very good. I did not think our second stop was very good. That’s why I rate this a 3 rather than a 5…

Our tour of Beaune and the surrounding wine country was thoroughly enjoyable. Our guide, Matt, was extremely knowledgeable regarding the vineyards and wineries of Burgundy. He carefully chose three wineries for us to visit, each unique. We had a very nice lunch at one of them. He also gave us a bit of a culinary tour of Beaune itself, visiting a wonderful cheese shop among other producers.
