Get more out of your time in France by going on a day trip to explore the many wineries in the Burgundy winemaking region. After meeting in Beaune, you’ll travel in a small group by minivan to multiple dispersed sites. You’ll save time planning how to get between wineries by having transport organized for the day. Learn about the different classifications of Burgundy wine and enjoy several delicious wine tastings.

If you are staying in Burgundy, do not miss a tasting of the region's famous elegant wine. This tasting and cellar tour experience takes place at Château de Villars Fontaine Domaine de Montmain, a winery in the heart of the Burgundy wine region. You'll learn about their well-aged wine and taste samples of varietals over 20 years old.

Head out to the forest for a truffle hunt with this experience. You'll meet your guide at the Maison Aux Mille Truffes, where you'll get a briefing on truffles and how they are hunted. Then you'll head out to the woods with Julio, a truffle-hunting canine, who will search for truffles right before your eyes, before returning to your starting point for a product tasting.

This immersion day will allow you to better understand the wines of Burgundy through map reading in the vineyard, simple and clear explanations of winemaking techniques in the cellar, to better understand the history of Burgundy and its wines since the Roman Empire to the present day.
