This might be my favorite tour that I have ever booked. Dan was absolutely great. He was very accommodating and communicative ahead of the tour. He was very relaxed and easy to talk to and was very informative. My favorite part was not only did he tell you the history and fun facts but would show film clips so you could see the building (for example) he’s showing you in the movie scene! I thought it was great to see both at the same time without having to do the research myself. His points of interest were well thought out, and he seemed very genuine, which I appreciated and enjoyed. Also, the cream tea location was fabulous, and the scones were delicious! I would book one of Dan’s tours every return to Bath…no hesitation. He is a fun personality!

Our tour guide, Daniel, made this tour the 5 star experience. He was knowledgeable, funny, great with our kids 7, 9 and 10. They had a great time and will remember lots about this tour, thanks to Daniel’s amazing story telling. The adults will remember lots as he made our tour an enjoyable and educational experience, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We loved both towns and the cream tea was a joy to sit down to! We had a great time even on a rainy day. Daniel played the movie clips for us so we could see what was filmed at the areas we visited, which made the areas come to life. He had so much information on the history of Bath, Lacock, and the Cotswolds as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Delightful afternoon in the idyllic villages of Castle Combe and Lacock. Daniel, our guide, did an excellent job of driving us through the scenic back roads and showcasing the beauty and interesting highlights of each town. His knowledge of the area and it's history was remarkable. We appreciated his flexibility in taking us to the Lacock Abbey to see the stunning cloisters that have been featured in many films including Harry Potter. Of course, the ultimate experience of the day was our visit to Fosse Farm where we met Diana and her spunky dog, Alby, who greeted us which an abundance of joy! We had our first English Cream Tea there complete with homemade scones, cream and an outstanding local plum jam which is probably one of the best jams we have ever had. We would recommend this tour and any of Daniel's curated tours. Thanks again, Daniel, for a memorable afternoon!

An amazing step back in time to beautifully preserved villages full of history and mystery. Saw filming sites of Downtown Abbey, Harry Potter, and other classic films. Daniel, our tour guide was a wonderful chauffeur and storyteller. He was so helpful and accommodating. We were fortunate to have booked two tours with Daniel and by the end of last day we felt more like friends than customers. We shared personal stories and had many good laughs. I now have a few new life stories that I will treasure and carry with me 🥰

We had a fabulous time visiting Lacock and Castle Combe. Our guide, Daniel, was fantastic! We highly recommend him as a private tour guide. He was so very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed our time immensely. And, he treated us to a surprise Sweet Tea at the end of our tour. We couldn't have asked for more. Such a treat!!!

Our guide, Daniel, was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He also took us to a wonderful bed and breakfast, Fosse Farmhouse, where the owner, Karen, provided us with the most amazing cream tea experience. I would recommend this tour to all.

Private tour, picked us up at our location, comfortable vehicle. Tour guide had excellent knowledge of our destinations. We took a very scenic drive through the countryside to reach our destinations. Then we parked and walked through the villages with the guide,, where he narrated and pointed out all th interesting sights. He had a tablet to show us movie clips from the films that were filmed at the locations we visited, (ex; Harry potters parents house). Then we stopped for cream tea at a bed and breakfast that was totally private. There were great stories, a dog for kids to play with, and a lovely yard. This was truly an intimate tour, not a driver. Excellent experience.

Amazing time with Daniel. He is very knowledgeable about the area. Lalock and Castle Comb were brought to life with the clips that Daniel showed and the stories he told. Very nice cream tea as well. Would recommend and would take tour again!

We absolutely loved our tour with Daniel. The villages we visited were beautiful and full of interesting history. We are traveling with three small children and Daniel was patient and kind to all of them - even pushing a stroller while one was sleeping. The cream tea at the end of the tour was delicious. We are so glad we visited this area of England - it is beautiful.

The most wonderful experience!
I traveled with my mother, the booking process was simple, and the communication with booking agency and travel guide excellent.
The drive in the countryside was beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and provided interesting information about the sights. We would definitely book again on one of Daniel’s tours.

Daniel was a well-informed and engaging. The car was comfortable and had a full moon-roof for taking in the trees and light. We strolled through Lacock and Castle Combe, and Daniel pointed out both little-known and well known sites. He even had movie clips so we could appreciate how compelling the areas were as true works of art and imagination.
Of course, the most fun was Cream Tea with Karen at her gorgeous old farmhouse. The clotted cream was otherworldly good and her homemade plum jam was perfect.
Highly recommended! One of the best parts of our two-week trip to southwest England. Thank you, Daniel!!!

We highly recommend Daniel's tours. His knowledge is vast, and his storytelling skills are excellent. The two villages that we visited were fascinating and illuminating examples of Cotswold architecture. Daniel's commentary really brought them to life.
