This is a driver only and not a full tour guide, but I still feel like I learned so much from my driver, Su.
Su was a great driver- the right amount of careful and decisiveness for Thai traffic. She has such a love for hospitality and her country. She was patient with an itinerary change to help me find pocket wifi during phone problems. When we drove around the city, she told me many interesting things that only someone who has lived somewhere all their life and that truly has pride in their home and a love of teaching guests about local culture would know. I highly recommend Su and her team to friends, family, and strangers. I hope our paths cross again!

We booked this trip to see the Grand Palace only to find out that the Place closed at 3pm so we were not able to see the inside of the Palace. also our driver did not speak English so we had every difficult time communicating with her. it was so boring my husband fell asleep as we were driving to the Palace. I will never book through Viator again. This is the 3rd incident we have had within 2 weeks. I reache out before the driver pick us up. To let them know she had phoned us and could not speak English. What is a private tour if you are just riding and cannot communicate. She had to use her phone for the little communication we had. She appeared to be nice.

Regarding the visit to the Grand Palace, please kindly note that the palace’s opening hours are set by the management and are beyond our control. The Grand Palace normally closes at 3:30 PM (last admission around 3:00 PM). If the customer arrived close to or after the final admission time, entry inside the palace would unfortunately not be permitted by the authorities.
Concerning the driver’s English proficiency, this service was arranged as a private transfer with driver only. Please note that drivers are responsible for transportation services and are not licensed tour guides. For detailed explanations and guided commentary inside the palace, a licensed English-speaking tour guide would need to be booked separately.
We understand the customer’s disappointment; however, the transportation service was provided as confirmed. The driver picked up the customers as scheduled and completed the transfer. As mentioned, the driver was polite and used a translation application to assist with communication when necessary.
For future bookings, if customers require full commentary and in-depth explanations, we would highly recommend reserving a private tour package with a licensed English-speaking guide to ensure a more interactive experience.

Clean vehicle and safe driver. Our driver seemed more interested in having us pay additional fees and/or not go a minute over our allotted time. Even when she wasn’t in the designated pick up spots on time. Polite but didn’t seem terribly interested in making sure we saw the sites or had a good time.

A great way to see the main points of interest in Bangkok. The driver was very friendly and told us a little about the places we visited. She also waited for us when our flight was late and kept in touch. The car was comfortable.

Our tour driver did not really speak English. Also, she would silently drive us to a tour site location and drop os off with instructions to call when we were done. Then she would drive us to the next site and drop us off: No history, explanation or information. We have been used to tour guides who like to share their love and knowledge of the chosen sites. We finally gave up and took a pass on the last site and had her drop us a a store we wanted to visit. Perhaps Viator has different standards.

The place we visit was beautiful! But the personal driver that we have always rushing us,yelling got some hot temper attitude does not speak english also. On our receipt water bottle is included but he never offer and then the end of the day he asked for 300baht. Not sure if he shared it to his partner.

It is ONLY a driver and a person to take you in the places of interest.. Do not expect a tour full of interesting information etc as this is definitely not for you.. But it was a good experience and the driver was excellent, but VERY limited in English

Really good experience for a stopover of 11h in Bangkok. We booked the 8h trip and the driver came and picked us up at the airport. We saw 2 monuments, had a walk in china town and back to the airport for our next flight!

We had a layover between Bangkok and Cambodia and decided to skip the airport lounge in favor of a private tour, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Given the need to travel light, as we navigated through smaller planes and multiple stops, we each brought two small carry-on pieces that fit perfectly and comfortably in the vehicle.
Our guide expertly took us to about four different sites within a reasonable timeframe, allowing us to explore comfortably without feeling rushed. She also ensured we had plenty of time to check in for our next flight and walk comfortably to our gate.
Additionally, she was thoughtful and prepared— I was wearing long, modest shorts, and she brought a skirt just in case our knees weren’t covered. She allowed me to borrow the skit for me to wear so I could enter the temples respectfully, covering my knees (and I was already wearing a shirt that covered shoulders). Throughout the day, she was incredibly kind, punctual, and attentive to our needs.
Overall, it was the best layover experience we've ever had, and we highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to make the most of a brief stopover!

We just spent a wonderful two days with our driver, Suvalee. Based on her recommendations we went to Marklong Train station and floating market, which made for a really fun day. Our second day was full of sights in Bangkok where she artfully navigated city traffic. We also had some wonderful meals based on her restaurant recommendations.
