Easy and informative

Since these 4 attractions are the most popular ones in day trips from Baku, what makes an agency stand out from the others are the quality of the guides, the drivers, the organisation and their reliability. In these 4 aspects, Azerbaijan Travel (the agency) and Mishfig aka Michael (the guide), excelled. The most reassuring part was their contactability by WhatsApp, and their call to my hotel to confirm pick up timing. Michael was also helpful to other lost tourists trying to find their van. The group size of 18 was quite ok; and the guide made sure everyone kept together. The sights were marvellous of course and I especially enjoyed rocking around in those prehistoric Ladas in the unique landscapes at the Qobustan mud volcanoes.

Awesome!

Great experiences often are hand-crafted! Nazef is a terrific guide - very knowledgeable, able to unfold pictures of the historic past and bring in connections across times to current. He was able to customize the content and accommodate the preferences of our group - thank you for the great tour, Nazef!

Terrible, rude guide ruined this.

The attractions on this tour are by no means world class, but had potential to be interesting. However the guide we had was awful. Barking orders, telling us to hurry up all the time then boring the life out of you with his monotone drawl. By the end I felt like a naughty school child who'd upset the teacher, rather than a paying grown adult. Shame.

Nice and informative

Tour was very well arranged. Guide was nice and provided good information. Locations are not far. Had a nice surprise when old 4wheel cars took us to the mud volcano.

Good experiences

I was very satisfied with this one day tour. I could see Mud Volcano, Gobustan Rock art etc. But it was sad for lunch. The service was pretty slow.

Wonderful Experience❤️

Emir was beyond informative and very helpful... Overall an amazing experience for us especially as a first timer in Baku. A must tour👍

Great Tour at reasonable price

This was a fun day trip which includes the main tourist spots of Baku. A set menu lunch was also provided in a restaurant in old town. For this price, it was a great deal. We were the first to be picked up from the hotel and had to spend a bit of time in the bus picking up other guests. Some were prompt and some made us wait. In any case the bus had good enough A/C and we had to chance to look around town on the move. Mr.Emir the tour guide was very friendly and spoke good English. He explained the background of each stop on the tour patiently to all. Well organised and efficient, I would recommend this tour for its value for money and the number of attractions is covers compared to other operators. Pro tip: Carry plenty of water with you. There is stop at a grocery store before the mud volcano visit where you can buy also cold water at normal price

A fantastic day in Azerbaijan

This was a great day trip! We were picked up exactly on time at our hotel by our guide and driver. The tour was supposed to be up to 14 people but we were the only people so it ended up being a private tour! thank you for still running the tour and that is a credit to the tour operator not to cancel it. Our guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable with perfect English. We covered everything on the itinerary at a relaxing pace and now have great memories about the natural wonders and history of this great nation. The lunch was wonderful - the lamb was mouth watering to the extent that we visited the restaurant again! Hotel drop off at the end finished a great day. Thank you for this experience!!
