We felt rushed the whole time, tour guide was soft spoken, didn't have microphone and we couldn't hear what he was saying which made us loose interest, guided part of tour was short, mostly we were given free time, we did not appreciate eating sandwiches on the run at formula 1 eather.

An Unforgettable Day in Bahrain – Thanks to Shereen!

We had the most incredible private tour of Bahrain, thanks to our amazing guide, Shereen. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about Bahrain’s rich history and culture, but her pride in her country shines through in every story she shares. The tour was amazing. We visited the majestic Al-Fateh Grand Mosque, where we learned a great deal about Islam and Christianity, and even witnessed the call to Salat. Ancient history came to live at Qal'at al-Bahrain and the ruins of the old fort overlooking the sea. The Royal Camel Farm was a fun stop. And the capital Manama showed off some incredible and modern buildings, with some sustainable touches too. Seeing the Dilmun Burial Mounds was a powerful reminder of Bahrain’s deep historical roots, but the true highlight was the Tree of Life. There’s something almost magical about this lone tree thriving in the middle of the desert. It was serene and awe-inspiring. Thank you, Shereen, for making our visit so special. Your passion for Bahrain is infectious, and we left not only better informed, but genuinely moved.

It was a great tour of Bahrain , Ahmed Maraj was our tour guide. He sent a message a few days prior, made it easy to find him. They provided drinks and snacks. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time for the camel farm. Some folks on our tour were chronically late decreasing available time at different places. He and his assistant were very informative and took lots of pictures. It was a great tour and a great price.

Great overview of Bahrain. Was tough with such a large group. Wish the tour was smaller. We weren’t able to see all the sights because the group moved slowly. Tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Would have also been nice to have a traditional meal instead of eating at the mall.

Ahmed was amazing. He was kind, attentive, accommodating and an all around incredible guide. We've traveled extensively all over the world and he was definitely one of our favorite guides! We would normally do a private tour but I accidentally booked this one. We were nervous about being Americans in Bahrain, especially in Ramadan, but decided to give this tour a chance. The coach was beautiful and clean (and cool!). So many snacks and water to take care of us when everything was closed during Ramadan. Every stop was perfectly timed. Cannot recommend this tour enough and will definitely be telling all our friends to request Ahmed Maraj when they are in Bahrain!

Where do I begin with the praise for this outstanding tour provided by Bahrain Fun Tours? The moment that I booked the tour until it's completion, their customer service team member, Ahmed was in constant communication with me through WhatsApp. I would later discover that he was actually the gentleman in the Viator advertisement photos and was to be our tour guide also! After disembarking from the MSC Europia Cruise Ship solo and following the provided directions, I located him checking in the other guests. Upon approaching him, I was greeted very warmly and felt, "This is going to be a good time". Brother Ahmed was the epitome of graciousness and hospitality, offering plenty of snacks and water throughout the day. Being a seasoned tour guide here in Atlanta, GA US, myself I can recognize a good guide and Brother Ahmed was one of the best amongst my travels that I've encountered! With his 25 years of experience, he "knows his stuff" and enthusiastically proved it by always providing flawless commentary amid the phethera of questions; often times a tangent from the topic at hand, that he received from the many onboard guests throughout the time together, he remained warm and friendly and answered them all! Forget about miss capturing any important moments because he was there with his high powered cell phone camera (I ment to get that model number) to snap it for you and then sent back the stunning picture(s) to you before the tour ended! The numberous sites were expertly described. Standing before The Tree of Life was breathtaking; The Burial Mounds were a bit emotional; Touring a Fort from 650 BC was amazing and Shopping in the Mart Place were all experiences colorfully brought to life through his incredible knowledge. When the 7-8 hours had ended, we were returned back to the waiting ship in time for dinner exhausted and steeped in the newfound knowledge of the old and new Bahrain...well, at least I was...lol! Thank you Brother Ahmed and Bahrain Fun Tours for providing me with a memory that I shalt never forget! I would highly recommend taking this full day tour when your ship is docked there for the day. Why wonder around the ship all day when you can enjoy this remarkable adventure and hope that you get to enjoy it with Ahmed! Blessings...

I was actually joined to a group from a cruise ship (though not on any ship myself) which kept the cost down but it was confusing at first. Our guide was brilliant and very welcoming, the coach was only 60% occupied so no problem. The difficulty is that in trying to cram in many sites/sights, you don't get much time in any one place and it can feel rushed. But of course you can go back to e.g. the museum....so long as you're not on the cruise ship!

Great Tour. I booked a Tour for me and a group of 12 friends from Mexico city to visit Bahrein The company was very profesional and communicated with me all the time prior to our arrival. Husain (our guide) was waiting for us before we arrived at the terminal. The bus was very nice and clean He and his team treated us very well, they brought water, coffee, and snacks. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Very good humor, he invited his daughter to help him showing us their beautiful country Lu Jean ( I hope i am spelling it correctly) Beautifull young lady full of life and good vives who made the Tour memorable. With excellent English they captivated us and showed us their culture and beautiful kingdom. A memorable experience. Muhamid "The driver", also did a beautiful job! Fantastic Bahrain tour- condensed and impactful

Well organized and efficient. For a short stay in Bahrain, this half day tour hits the highlights and leaves you feeling very satisfied and with enough time to do another activity or two after that. We toured the Sooq, saw a great pearl shop, toured the ancient tombs, visited a great local pottery shop, toured the F1 circuit, and then spent some time in rhe National Museum. Our tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and a great representative of Bahrain culture and reception. We highly recommend his service and this tour!

My family and I had a great tour with Ahmed, our guide. The tour company were very responsive to questions asked and very flexible with timing…. We had to make a last minute change in our pick up time and they were able to accommodate the change. Ahmed, our guide, was amazing and was very informative about Bahrain. We forgot some items in his car and was kind enough to bring it to our hotel the next day! His photography skills were amazing and took some amazing pictures for us.

When paying full price for a private tour (even with a last minute booking), I expect the guide will have knowledge & experience as a tour guide. We were unable to access the historic houses & the pearl path - both included in our agreed itinerary and we learned more about the Fort & Museum by reading the provided information boards than from our guide. It was basically a very expensive taxi that drove us around Bahrain for 5 hours & carried our luggage to the airport.

Great private tour

We had a lovely private tour for the day with Ahmed. We were able to customise the itinerary to our interests and make the most of our day in Bahrain. Ahmed was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and was happy to answer all of our questions about the historical and present day Bahrain. He also took us to delicious food spots where locals go. It was also a bonus that we got free wifi throughout the trip and Ahmed took some great photos for us. The tour was organized, we were contacted about our tour and the options for customisation immediately after booking, and Ahmed was on time to greet us at the airport. I would highly recommend going with Bahrain Fun Tours, and make sure you ask for Ahmed!

Very informative

It was a great tour but we started a bit late due to others arriving late. We did have to rush on some of the tour stops because we were crunched for time and our tour guide Ahmed wanted to share as much as he could. This tour was very informative and great but not enough time. We had to be back on the ship at a specific time and we didn’t want to risk being left behind so we left the group early and took a cab back to the port. Ahmed is a great tour guide and wished that our ship didn’t leave so early. I would recommend this tour to others.
