It's a beautiful trip along the Flores coast from Santa Cruz to Ponta Delgada. The skipper was incredibly enthusiastic and clearly loved his job. It was a pleasant trip! Once in Corvo, a van (4pc) was waiting to take anyone who wanted to (for a small fee) to the top of the crater. There you could walk around (just under 5km) and then they picked you up again. Very well organized!! We didn't find Corvo itself particularly special, but the crater walk was fantastic!!! Everyone was back at the boat earlier than necessary, so we left early. On the way back, the skipper even sailed past a pod of gray dolphins—the icing on the cake! Thanks so much for the fantastic tour!

The boat ride along the coast and into the caves was fantastic with Hugo our skipper. He is very energetic and fun to be with as well as attentive to people's comfort and safety.
His boat is slightly smaller than the others, so it allowed it to get into the caves better.
Corvo and the hike are beautiful.

Great trip but poor instructions in Viator. You meet at 8:50 at Porto das poças, Santa Cruz, you're with skipper Hugo on boat Mero (rigid inflatable with the capacity of 12). Bring a daypack with water and other essentials. Reach Corvo after an hour (on way out visiting clifts, waterfalls and caves along the Flores coastline). Vans are waiting in Corvo to immediately transfer you to the Caldeirão (main attraction of the island), 10 mins drive, extra Eu10 RT. You get about 2.5 hours to walk around the Caldeirão, then you get taken back to a restaurant near the airport for lunch. Then you have about an hour to walk around town and you depart at 3p getting back to Flores at 4p. Obviously, you can choose to do anything else between the arrival and departure but the above is the prearranged and recommended program.
